Monthly Rentals in Ammoudares

We had a wonderful time at Antonios' place! The property was perfectly & accurately described & after we booked it, Antonios sent us lots of additional helpful details, tips & great suggestions. We were just 2 people, so the property felt quite roomy, which was nice. I would say that a car is needed - not so much for the daily tasks as going to the beach or grabbing food, but for the freedom, convenience & affordability when exploring the surrounding. We covered almost the whole eastern part of the island in 20 days & Antonios' villa served as a perfect base. The closest bakery is excellent. The walk to Gra Ligia beach took me 20 min - possible, doable, nice to have in a way, but carefully with the traffic on the road. The Gra Ligia beach is quite nice actually - fine sand inside and not too deep. We were driving to other beaches, but there is a close, nice option too. Overall, the stay at Antonios' place was wonderful- great deal, super service! Will do it again without doubt!

We spent 16 days with our little boys and their grandfather in Maria's beach house and are thrilled. The house is beautiful, the grounds around it are a dream for children and the beach is often all to yourself. But above all, it was Maria's parents who helped us to have an unforgettable stay. Eva and Nikolas are incredibly warm and hospitable people who supported us in a real emergency and never hesitated to help. Thank you for that. And yes: the surrounding area with its greenhouses is not what you imagine as a tourist in Greece. But you can experience real Greek life there and if you like it a little more touristy, you will enjoy the cute Mirtos and Ierapetra.

Great host, very friendly and responsive. Great location, nice desk. Bed is OK. The only downside is the shower and toilet in general: absolutely terrible. No space to move and shower in, you are essentially showering over the toilet bowl.

Great place to stay which I highly recommend. We felt at home. We had the beach to ourselves, so to speak. Eftychia was always easily accessible, mega helpful and accommodating. As a welcome gift, she provided us with fresh vegetables, fruits and wine. Everything was perfect.
