Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Amherst County

My wife and I stayed at Darren's and Fran's place for three nights while we were in town for a wedding. The area felt pretty safe, and it was relatively quiet during our stay (late May). The parking garage was extremely convenient. The apartment felt like a mini home and was stocked with everything you need for an extended weekend, plus lots of recommendations in their welcome book. Our favorite part was how extremely comfortable and soft the bed sheets were. Overall, we would recommend this cozy spot.

This was an indescribably beautiful and charming place- it felt like a fairy garden. After a couple of rough stays at other airbnbs, this was a complete 180. It’s secluded, while being nearby to the city, and was such a nice place to enjoy all the nature around and relax. I already miss my sweet friend I made (the orange kitty) who waited eagerly for us morning and night for cuddles. I’m so glad we found this place! Thanks so much for having us here.

It was the perfect place for us while visiting our daughter and new grandson, we were . 7 miles from their place and in such a quiet neighborhood! The place is no frills but everything we needed was there and very reasonable, it was nice and cool inside which we appreciated since it's hot and humid in Lynchburg, 😆. Close to almost everywhere we needed to be. Communication was quick and always pleasant and we would stay again if needed. Thanks!!

Sherry and her husband were great hosts! The apartment was awesome. There were so many personal touches and amenities that we really appreciated. We really didn’t get to enjoy much of these because we were attending graduation ceremonies and related activities around campus and separate parties. We would definitely love to come back here to really enjoy it. We definitely highly recommend the Captain’s Quarters to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

Great stay again! our 2nd time here for some R&R... Such a unique and comfy place. hosts are great, lots to do (and eat), very responsive to our needs! definitely recommend this spot!!

This was our first visit to Lynchburg and we chose Courtney's because of its proximity to Liberty University (which was hosting the Conference USA Baseball Championship). This home is only a few short miles from campus in a quite neighborhood. We also discovered we were only a few miles from Downtown Lynchburg which was an awesome place to grab diner and drinks after a long day of college baseball (highly recommend Fratelli Italian Kitchen). The home is a little older with few updates but it worked out really well for my wife and I who are remote workers (we just need to plug in our computers) - we each had our own space and could easily do our work (although a few more outlets would have been nice). The driveway is long and narrow so we chose to park on the street in front of the house which was simple to do. We did have some upstairs neighbors for a bit, but other than some minor squeaky floors, it was not a bother. We would stay here again on another visit to Lynchburg

Lovely little spot in Amherst. Clean, close to the towns shops and restaurants. Stayed here for SBC reunion and it was convenient to campus.

Everything was great! From instructions to getting to the farm to checking into the house. House was clean and it fit our family of 6 comfortably. Scenery was amazing and farm animals looked great. I love that the farm help let us be involved as much as we wanted. We could watch him feed the animals or help him feed. He also told us a lot about them. There are walking trails but they could be marked better. Check out was late enough to sleep in a little and have breakfast and not rush out. The horseback riding was great! I learned a lot and very helpful. We had a great time reconnecting with family and enjoying nature.

Me and my Family had the pleasure of Booking with Michael, his family home is absolutely beautiful and spacious in a very peaceful area, he was very understanding and very thorough with instructions, Michael's was very helpful and accommodating as me and my family was in need of a place to sleep due to a prior arrangement not working out and he was more than accommodating going above and be and it is much appreciated not to mention that the home was also impeccable, I would definitely recommend Michael's and this property to anyone visiting or in the area, Thank you again

The house was very comfortable and clean. Close to everything in Lynchburg and we really enjoyed our stay.

First and foremost, Ashley and Ryan were extremely responsive. Second, the house was attractively decorated. The table in the back dining area was stunning. The huge fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs, and was really easy to access from the inside . It was nice having bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. The proximity of the parking to the front door made unloading and packing exceptionally easy. We enjoyed having two separate bathrooms. It was also a Bo us being able to use the washer and dryer. This place in the mountains is BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to stay longer. I was there for my graduation from Liberty University. It was about an hour away, but it worked for me because the property was large enough to house all of my family and friends. Jennifer was VERY responsive. The kitchen was amazing. There is a Food Lion about 6 minutes away down the hill, and restaurants. My grandsons and niece loved the outdoor play area. My husband loved the fire pit. I loved sitting on the porch on the swing. We stayed at this home for W&L graduation. It was just as described and was well-appointed and clean. There was a ramp to the first floor which was accommodated one of our guests who had mobility issues. The home has plenty of space and worked well for our group of 8. It is in a somewhat remote location (which we knew when we booked) with beautiful views of the mountains. The hosts were responsive to all of our inquiries. Unfortunately, now that our son has graduated we probably won't have an occasion to stay here again but we would definitely recommend it if you don't mind a 20 minute ride to the W&L campus.

Super location in the center of all there is to do in downtown Lynchburg. The unit is nicely decorated and super-clean, so comfortable. A great stay!

We loved our stay, had everything we needed. The home is newer and was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The view is simply lovely. We were in town for a wedding but plan on coming back and could not imagine staying anywhere else. Great coffee shops, restaurants, shops, parks, trails and even farmers market are walkable from Angel’s home.

Stylish condo with beautiful views off the Bluffwalk. Very clean and well-appointed with comfortable and cozy bedding. Awesome central location within downtown - so many fun shops and restaurants in walking distance. Great walking trails along the river as well! Jessica is great to deal with, very responsive. Highly recommend, and hope to return!

This was a perfect location in the historic area of Lynchburg. We loved the beautiful view and being able to walk to nearby restaurants.

Wow!! My first words as I entered the space!! So clean, inviting, and a great view from the patio! Bonus: Keurig plus pods, SOFT, fluffy towels, amazing water pressure in both showers, comfy couch, (I could go on and on)! Kelly was very prompt in answering any questions I had and did recommend a few restaurants nearby. She also provided a binder with absolutely everything you would need to know about the condo or surrounding area. Would absolutely stay there again if in Lynchburg.

We had a wonderful visit in Lynchburg for Senior weekend at the University of Lynchburg. Beautiful Airbnb, close to lots of food options downtown. The loft s funky and beautifully decorated. My adult kids loved it too! We would definitely stay here again.

Brittany place was clean and well stocked with lots of extras. The location was wonderful. Easy to walk to great hikes, wonderful restaurants, farmers market and local shops. I would highly recommend this place!
