Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Cabin in Buena Vista

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

A great family home that is perfect for gathering. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed. The two guest bedrooms have 2 singles in each. A pack and play, as well as air mattresses are available. The upstairs has 2 full baths, and the main level has a half bath. Laundry is also available. Situated on a large 1 acre lot this is perfect for outdoor entertaining. Netflix and Hulu are available on two big screen TV's. Outdoor and indoor toys available.

It was the first time in months that I was finally able to relax and get proper sleep. I slept later than I planned to! Lori did everything to make sure I was comfortable and felt safe. She really is such a good person and so caring and big hearted. Just meeting her for the first time felt like I had known her for years! Thank you Lori! The Lodge is beautiful!!! Don't hesitate on booking this home. Lovely setting, quiet and secluded. Grounds are amazing and so is the home. Don't forget to go down to the creek, it was such fun. Breweries and wineries super close by.

Ansolutely immaculate provisions provided b family style. Bath items are family size not individual. They best best I’ve ever slept on in My entire life! Things here have a clean squared off finish, not a fluffy sinking feeling. This is fine. The look of the bed seemed like it would be hard and I could have failed asleep the moment I sat down. Beyond clean. Everything in place to easily respect property. Two bedrooms. Advertised for 5. With children perhaps. We are two retired adults and were quite comfortable.

Susan was an incredible host. She goes out of her way to make a homemade breakfast using eggs from her own chickens. We stayed 3 nights and had a different homemade breakfast each morning. Omelet, eggs and french toast, homemade quiche. Truly an amazing host.

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Jeff and Carol's place is great. I stayed here a few years ago, and was pleased with the stay this time as well. I wish we'd had time (and energy) to use the hot tub - it was ready for us to use. I liked the upstairs space with the fridge. I will definitely stay here again if I need a space like that. Thank you both!
