Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. The Lodge at Taylor Ranch is home to two of Oklahoma's premiere disc golf courses, but we offer more than just disc golf! Our rustic, yet cozy cabin sits just above the water! In the winter you can snuggle up next to the fireplace or in the summer you can jump off the dock and go swimming! We are 6 miles away from The Mercantile (10 minute drive). We have hosted many Weddings, Parties, Disc Golf Tournaments, Retreats, Boy Scout Camp-outs, Fishing Derbies, etc! We also have an RV Park as well!

The house is on the water at the 67MM of the lake and features 300 feet of private shoreline. A deck that overhangs the water is just a few steps from a patio equipped with a propane/charcoal grill and outdoor cooking area. Two kayaks are included to explore the shoreline and its wildlife. Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.
