A good, modern place to stay on an authentic medium-sized champagne farm with hospitable and easy-going hosts! The highlight of our stay was Audrey’s wonderful tour of the Pascal Redon grape press, cellars, and bottling area. The generous tasting she gave us convinced us to buy quite a bit of their excellent champagne. It was also fun to see farm machinery going out to work in the vineyard. The flat and the extra double bedroom with a separate entrance were just as shown in the photos, although there’s now a big wooden dining table in the flat. (That was useful because there are few places to sit outside in Trépail). Everything in the rooms seemed new, neat and clean, and the walls were decorated with some nice paintings by a matriarch of the Redon family. Trépail is also an excellent base for visiting other parts of the Champagne. The village is right next to Reims Mountain Park, with many lovely footpaths through the woods and great views of the surrounding countryside.

A jewel in Champagne! Close to the champagne route but tucked away by a stream and Forrest lies this gem of a farm. Fully enclosed and beautiful garden where you can sit under the flowering honeysuckle and enjoy the butterflies. With a glass of champagne….. Perfect for dogs, garden and courtyard fully enclosed . Bijou was the perfect host to our Flash and Freya : he shared his garden so kindly and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

We had a wonderful stay at Mathilde's. The house is clean, spacious and everything is provided. Mathilde even had a high chair and baby bed ready, which was really fantastic. Nice place to start your Champagne trip!
