Beautiful place! We had a very comfortable and private stay with great views. The place was really clean and had all the necessities. Michele was really helpful, suggesting restaurants, beaches, etc. Loved it!

Walter's beautiful cottage is located on a private beach in southern Italy. Yes - the beach is really private only a few vacation homes. We had the beautiful sandy beach with sea to ourselves all along, which is already an amazing experience! House is practically furnished with beautiful balcony - directly with beach access. In the house itself, everything you need for carefree holidays is available and Walter is happy to help with tips and advice about the area if you have any questions. We can highly recommend staying at Walter's vacation house if you want to relax for some time and enjoy the time by the sea. It was wonderful!

Lovely place, beautiful sea, with access to a pebble beach almost for private use, Amelia and Gaetano welcomed us as if we were family, giving us all the necessary information to spend our vacation in the best way, friendly and never invasive, we will definitely be back next year

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Venezuela. Sandro checked on us during our stay and also left us a welcome basket which was very kind and appreciated. From the covered balcony you can see the mountains with an unobstructed view of the Maratea Christ Redeemer Statue and on the other side are beautiful sea views. The sunsets are spectacular! The villa is within walking distance (280 m) to a great little coffee shop, Amadeus Lounge Bar, where we had an aperitif and cappuccino. The road is busy but we were not too bothered by it. The house is large and comfortably appointed. We did go to Fiumicello Beach and the Marina but unlike other reviewers we would not recommend walking to either. The roads are very narrow, without sidewalks and are quite busy with traffic and busses. Both had free parking available. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a great time here. On the way out we arrived in the dark and therefore had some trouble finding the house. A property in front of the house is somewhat blocking the view, but nevertheless fantastic stay. Lovely garden, large rooms, house full of comforts and a nice center nearby. We had rented a car so easily accessible for us. Nice and nice food in the shopping street of Scalea near Vularie Siciliane, very affordable too! Recommended, sandy beach at lido de Azzuro, beautiful bay, beautifully surrounded by mountains. Accessible via a (spicy) set of stairs. Sylwia gave a lot of nice tips. Perfect! This place was a serene getaway right on the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea. Upon arrival, the house was just as described and photographed with plenty of private en suite bathrooms and lots of open common space. The kitchen was well-equipped (and stocked with some delicious surprises) making it easy to serve a group of 10+. The bedrooms were clean and spacious with beautiful lighting and some had ocean views. Nicola was super friendly and flexible with arrival time. He came to let us in and give us a full tour to make sure we knew how every amenity functioned, including the espresso machine. The house was very clean. The couches and beds were comfortable. The size and layout of the house make it very comfortable for large families or groups to use while maintaining individual or couple privacy. Our group of 10 will definitely be back! Thank you for being so attentive and responsive to all our questions, Nicola. Our time was perfect.

Fantastic place - matches pictures exactly. The view is one of the best we've seen in the whole area, makes you regret going out to dinner instead of sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The access to the sea is directly underneath and fairly easy - you have to climb over a few rocks at the bottom, but it's fun and sand-free. Water is crystal clear and snorkeling is nice on either side, lots of boats stop in the area to take in the beauty. The house itself is excellent, full of well-working AC units. Cleaned exceptionally well, there are lots of small touches that make it very charming, an excellent patio. Kitchen very functional and pretty. The garage below is large and handy with a car. The car access to the neighborhood is pretty narrow/steep, fine with some practice, but could be tricky for Americans. If renting a car, recommend at least a moderately powerful model to make the exit smoother. Host was wonderful and responsive.

We were warmly welcomed and easily introduced to the apartment: plenty of water and coffee were ready for us. 2 balconies (northwest or around corner northeast overlooking the sea, southwest or southeast around the corner overlooking the mountain ranges) invited you to enjoy breakfast, a sunbath or the evening end. The furnishings left nothing to be desired (see description). Dogs, cats, chickens in the neighborhood convey a rural flair. Fabrizio Piccolo for us was the starting point for many entertaining activities (close range: Rossano and Corigliano - narrow old towns on a hillside, Sibari with the archaeological park; distant area: Camigliatello Silano in the magnificent Sila National Park). A car is recommended for the neighborhood, enough parking space is available at the house, located on a cul-de-sac. It was difficult for us to say goodbye, easily arranged.

Giulia and Guido (the caretaker) are available and present if needed. The accommodation matches the description, in fact there is even more!! In the house there is everything you need to eat, dishwasher, washing machine and clothesline. The sea view apartment offers beautiful sunsets and there is the possibility of walking there through the beautiful olive garden that surrounds the residence of the residence. There is also a beautiful swimming pool with a lifeguard always present! Quiet and beautiful place to enjoy a little well-deserved relaxation!! I highly recommend it with the hope of coming back soon!!!☀️

Apartment on two floors complete with everything you need located inside a residence with a pool, excellent communication as the host is on site. Downtown Scalea is a couple of minutes away by car. Recommended

Matteo 's place was perfect quiet clean and spacious the supermarket is close by and also a coffee shop. also a short drive to the beach. The gas cooker is not an auto ignition so make sure you have a lighter of some kind with you. once we got a that sorted and got the gas going for a cup of tea we were happy. We thoroughly recommend Matteo's place easy to find and access

Two days of absolute relaxation with the family We spent two days surrounded by greenery and the beauty of this villa with a breathtaking sea view, corners of the house to fully enjoy every relaxation. We were welcomed by Marzio and his family and made us feel like part of it. We'll be back soon to this magnificent property

My family and I enjoyed the stay at this apartment. It is located in a lovely village with the beautiful sea view and the beach nearby. Even if we didn’t met Anton personally, he did everything to make our stay comfortable with a very quick communication to all my questions. Definitely recommend you this place for a family vacation

We spent a week in August at Villa Florio in Maratea and were extremely satisfied. The house is very nice, well divided and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The outdoor spaces are immersed in a well-kept green area, with a beautiful holm oak in the south. Here, you can enjoy breakfast from the sea or relax in the sun in total privacy, all accompanied by an enchanting view of the Gulf of Policastro and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Villa Florio not only for the beauty and uniqueness of the place, but also for the kindness and hospitality of Maria Teresa and her partner, who made our stay even more special. Maratea and Basilicata are lovely places, and this villa is the perfect starting point to discover them.

Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Fantastic location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Highly recommended.

The stay exceeded all expectations. The location couldn’t have been more ideal and being just a few steps from the beach was amazing. This is the spot to choose if you are looking to get away from other foreign tourists and was very authentic (I think we were the only foreign tourists in town). The hosts were very welcoming and responsive (assisted with coordinating transport, provided recommendations and went above and beyond). Villammare is a short walk up the road and had great pizzerias and gelaterias. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary cookware, in case you want to stay-in for the night. The semi-private beach was shared with several other seaside residences, mostly families, making it a calm and relaxing place to hang out and swim.

Spacious, clean and well equipped accommodation right in the centre of Praia a Mare. Close to good restaurants and bars. Floriana was specially helpful and concerned that we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, a ventilated terrace from where you can admire the sea. 200 Mt is the beach and a great Sicilian bakery The owner is kind and thoughtful Tip: The wifi since the connection does not always work in the area

I found the place as described in a very quiet area, but close to several places for the nightlife. The host was always available for any request, if you wanted to find the only thing, let's say negative is the TV that didn't work.
