Waterfront holiday rentals in Ålesund

The apartment was new and clean, and the mattresses were also... My family and I were happy with the apartment and the view of the strait is wonderful... The kitchen is complete and we enjoyed cooking with the wonderful atmosphere and view... We used the outdoor seating at coffee time and it was wonderful in the morning. We dealt with the lady and she was friendly, responsive and cooperative. I recommend the place for those looking for calm, relaxation and comfort.

Great apartment right on the fjord. Beautiful surroundings and equally awesome host. Stein and Berit were very welcoming. We would love to visit again one day :)

A lovely apartment, right on the water with incredible views. The art work in the apartment was really great- lots of Norwegian artists, like a mini museum. Easy walk to the city center. Kiwi Market for groceries was close by. There's an excellent Indian restaurant, Rasoi Ålesund, nearby that we really enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it for your time in Ålesund.

True to the photos, my son and I had a wonderful stay. The view from the terrace overlooks the fjords SYLVIE HELEN's husband is always welcoming, available and even printed out activities for us to do. The gentleman offered to take us back to the central station for our departure, letting us choose our schedule. I recommend this location and its owners 10/10. Thank you very much, sir.

Very comfortable apartment, well-equipped, with a great view. There's absolutely nothing missing. In addition, the owners are charming and very considerate. They received us wonderfully. Thank you for everything.

My stay was 6 weeks and I look back on it positively. It is a place where you can really relax. The place is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The nature and hiking opportunities nearby are fantastic. Solgunn is a very good hostess. Very considerate and very helpful. She gave very good tips and invited me to walks and activities. I can recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful little typical chalet with local decoration, trolls of all kinds. A magnificent view of the fjord from the bedroom balcony. Everything you need to cook. A lovely place to recommend.

What a beautiful house, it is well described in the listing. The garden is beautiful with sea views. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and enjoyed the☀️. The island exudes tranquility, it is wonderful for walking and cycling. We are super excited about this great (quiet) location with fantastic views 😍🥰

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

Great stay and absolutely beautiful house! Well located in a quiet and serene neighborhood with close proximity to town. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Alesund. The host Alex has been very friendly and supportive.

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful home in Flo. We really loved staying out in a small community instead of in the town of Stryn. The views and hiking straight out of the cabin were so amazing that most of us simply wanted to stay there the first day and not go into Stryn. (But my mother-in-law wanted to go out to dinner, so we did.)

A Very beautiful house in a nice location with a scenic view. Siv Ulla was very responsive and kept the house in prestine condition. Our kids too loved the place.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. Super convenient location. Great deal with two big bedrooms and a nice balcony. We recommend bringing your own toiletries (shower soap, laundry detergent). Place is carpeted (white carpets) which is good to note for little kids. Perfect for adults. Overall amazing host and great stay!

This place is a rare opportunity to stay in a beautifully restored historic home for which Alesund is known. And also so comfortable that we spent a day there just enjoying it. The floors, the open sunny rooms and the views! It is conveniently situated close to the center and yet set apart so that it is quiet, and a respite after a busy day. I expect that it is often booked (the kitchen utensils were well used), so I would recommend snagging this home if you can. The hosts are as wonderful as this place. Enjoy!

Rasmus’ apartment is really lovely. It was very easy to find and the lock box worked perfectly. A nice view of the fjord from the kitchen skylights. We even managed to use the wood stove without any problems. Thank you, Rasmus and Anna

Perfect accommodation for watching the lunnefågel!!! Nice hosting and everything we needed was in the accommodation. Highly recommended!
