Guest house holiday rentals in Alameda County

We've stayed at this location multiple times. It has everything we need i.e comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen (Hope includes coffee, creamer and sugar), bathroom with plenty of towels, hair dryer. shampoo, condiioner and body wash included, laundry facilites, iron and ironing board. All great. The landscaping is so pretty and there is a private patio with comfy furniture for enjoying the CA sunshine. Highly recommend.

Cozy, quiet atmosphere in a great location! The studio cottage is just the right size for one person, and probably no more than two. The little yard area is beautifully manicured and provides a tranquil setting when you walk in and out of the studio cottage. I instantly felt right at home. Alzira was kind enough to demonstrate how to lock the side gate behind me - and this after I knocked on her front door for help! (I'm not tech-savvy AT ALL, as I had to explain.) Alzira is not only friendly in person, but her text message communication was also extremely prompt and polite. I would stay here again and again.

It was a great stay. They have a beautiful property and garden. Berkley is a great walking city. It was fun to explore. This was my 2nd time to Berkeley, and my wife and kid's first. She loved the city. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The garden is full of flowers and eucalyptus trees, and the spa is peaceful and private. The space is bright, very clean, and has all the amenities you could need. The bed was super comfortable and the comforter nice and warm. We especially loved the owner’s artwork displayed throughout the cottage—it adds such a personal touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. Tilden Park is just 10 minutes away and perfect for nature walks. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely come back!

Had a wonderful stay with my four-year-old daughter for my birthday. The location is lovely, being able to walk down to college Avenue. We got in quite late, I would recommend asking host to turn on the heat if you think you might come in on the later side- the radiant floors are lovely but do take some time to heat up. Great artistic touches and hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying with Kate. I really appreciate that she reached out to ask about special dietary needs. The neighborhood was wonderful and very quiet! Loads of interesting things to do nearby. It was our first time to the San Francisco area and we enjoyed our stay! Your place was very convenient to all our activities. The information about Redwood forests was helpful and we ended up At Purisima Creek Redwood preserve after spending some time at Half Moon Bay! Both fabulous places and close to our location! We enjoyed our stay at Chris’s studio. The location is perfectly located to all the essentials but far enough off the beaten track to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. We had everything necessary to enjoy home made meals and coffee in the morning. Loved the setting and her garden was gorgeous. Chris was extremely nice and we would highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at Julie’s studio. It was such a beautiful space and perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is beautiful and the inside is cozy and so well put together. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood to get delicious food. Would definitely stay again!

Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved staying here, and would recommend this space to anyone who wants a unique and quiet space to stay in a really lovely part of town. It is worth mentioning that this space comes with some well communicated restrictions on sound during certain hours so make sure to read the listing closely before booking.

My husband spent two nights at Nanci’s cottage (I was unable to go with him). He shared with me the place was spotless, private, quiet, well-appointed, in a great area with lots of walkable restaurants and coffee shops, very comfortable for sleep, and had a beautiful garden with wildflowers near the cottage entrance. It was a perfect spot for him. Highly recommended for a solo traveler or for a cozy couple. Would definitely consider again next time we’re in Oakland.

We have our new favorite place to stay in at Walnut Creek. This place is in the nicest of neighborhoods and walkable to amazing restaurants in the downtown area. Steve is the best communicator and his recommendations were all wonderful! Everything was neat, clean, and fully stocked. Great to have laundry on site and the set-up of everything we needed was perfect. Loved this little backhouse cottage!

Julie and I had a wonderful time at Margaret and Phils. It was near a neighborhood I grew up. The accommodations were great, private cottage and beautiful gardens. They have a dog, Sadie, who was a delight. We hope to go back in the future.

This is a wonderful apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware, and included an assortment of cooking oils, vinegars and spices. The amenities included quality bath products, and nice, plush robes. We spent seven days here, and found it to be comfortable in all respects. The garden behind the house is delightful. The BART train station (providing access to Dan Francisco and more) is walking distance from the property. The property is quiet and peaceful.

This apartment has a lovely garden, which makes a stay very special. People should know that the apartment does not provide much space for cooking and clothes, especially for two guests, since it is just a tiny house. Raquel is very supportive, friendly, helps where she can very quickly and is flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which helped us a lot. It also great that a washer and dryer is included.
