Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alameda

We loved the location because the house was very cool, had a fantastic view and the grounds were great. We liked walking our dog in the neighborhood. We live in Southern California in a similar neighborhood but some might find the drive to the house a little challenging but well worth it when you get there! We hope to stay again next time we visit our daughter.

This space is an appartment, not a house. There are other tenants in the building. It was perfect for what we needed. There is a great view of the bay. The parking is difficult if you have a vehicle, but i imagine this is the case wherever you are in the city. The hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. The location of the apartment seemed safe and we didn't have any issues.

Beautiful home right in the middle of the dipsea trail stairs - go up the stairs to reach great hiking trails, down the stairs for great restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy home, responsive and friendly hosts. Be aware of the somewhat challenging parking - bring the small car. Absolutely worth it, we’d love to come back!

We stayed in the upstairs unit which was bright & comfortably furnished. There is a cute outdoor space behind the house which is shared by guests in both units.

Sunny Oasis is an accurate description! This home is very comfortable and nicely appointed in the heart of Berkeley.

Mel’s place was wonderful! Mel communicated with us prior to our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and provided recommendations for local restaurants. She made sure to put the lights on for us because we were coming in late in the evening. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. Would highly recommend Mel’s place!

Michele’s place was absolutely amazing. I stayed with my young daughter and pup and it was the perfect space for us. It was exactly as pictured - every room was spotless and smelled fresh! The backyard was so cute. My dog enjoyed running around for a bit while I worked under the sun for a few days. (We were coming from gray NYC so this was particularly fantastic.) The house is about a 5 minute walk to the BART station - really convenient for exploring different areas. I must also say though that it wasn’t just the house itself that was great, the host was too! Before I even decided to book, Michele was helpful, answering any question I had immediately with kindness and patience. Our flight arrived fairly late but Michele was super accommodating. Throughout the stay, she checked in to make sure things were going well and that we were enjoying our stay. Even after we returned to NY, she asked how the flight was! I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb. I definitely will again.

Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. We had an amazing stay at Casita Casita, the kids had so much fun in the pool and the kitchen was beautiful. On the last day, my six year old didn’t want to leave, she said she wished we could live there forever. It was super clean and when I did have a question, Courtney replied almost immediately. She was super great to work with, she sent us the house guide before our arrival and it included food recommendations. There was also a book printed guide which we actually referenced a lot! So that was helpful. The location is EXTREMELY walkable, we had fun walking to local shops and restaurants and the local park and bocci ball court.

We booked this place for a family staycation to spend a long weekend doing nothing but relaxing. This place exactly fit the bill. The hot tub was amazing, the pool was lovely and clean. Our little daughter thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The place was clean and well appointed with amenities. Best of all, when we realized we might end up arriving earlier then check in time, Alex promptly set us up to arrive a while hour and a half before time!

Very nice little apartment and one of our favorite places! The bed is super comfortable which was important to us. The kitchen is well-stocked, full refrigerator, and had a Keurig with coffee. We liked being away from downtown, but still conveniently located.

Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

This house is incredibly spacious and looks exactly like the photos. All of the linens are well organized and the kitchen had tons of counter space. The fireplace was dreamy in the kitchen and we loved the absolutely enormous television! Very, very soft beds as well.

It is a fantastic apartment in a great area , easy to visit San Francisco with the bus number O ( 6$/ ride) Steven decorated and equipped the apartment with everything you need- coffee, milk sugar sweets etc, so you can have a snack even if you arrive there late in the evening Steven is always reachable- and you can even use his washing machines and dryer! We had a delightful stay and I can recommend it for everyone!!

Nice but small room. Nice outdoor area. As other people have said, it was a bit small for the two of us. Great neighborhood!

Great house walking distance to downtown.

I stayed here for a week, and it worked out great for myself and my pup. Right across the street from the lake, enjoyed morning and evening walks. I found parking quite easily by the building. Host made the stay very smooth, and I felt safe as a solo traveler. And the apartment is absolutely adorable. This is my second stay here, and I would book again.

Carmen and Sam were great hosts! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. They let us know about a farmer’s market on Sunday and Recommended a river if we liked the nature feel. Definitely recommend. Thank you again Carmen and Sam!

Ideal location to downtown Park Street...Marketplace just across street with lots to choose from along with restaurants and coffee. We would definitely chose Alan's place again.

Cara has thought of everything, including kids' toys! She is nice and responsive, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches. The location is great and peaceful, and it made for a convenient stay.

We had a great time! The place was perfect for our family. It was by the beach, very clean, and we loved the interior! Will definitely book again if we come back to the area.❤️
