Beautiful Airbnb! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! Only challenge was the amount of stairs but that was made more challenging by our amount of luggage. Anyone with one to two bags wouldn’t have a problem.

I stayed in the little studio for 2 months while on a research visit, and it was truly a home during this time. It's walkable to the university and excellently connected with public transport. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of activities. The house has a beautiful back garden. It is not super-well insulated and you can hear your neighbours, which was a tiny drawback. The studio is tiny, but extremely comfortable and cozy. I appreciated the access to laundry and the host's responsiveness whenever I needed something.

Great clean and modern place. Excellent location and communication, entry, etc. There is quite a bit of street noise so ear plugs are a must, but it might not bother most people. I'm very sensitive.

We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

Clean, quiet and easy to get to! A perfect location for spending the day in SF or Half Moon Day and a quick 15 minutes to the airport. Was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

This unit is well situated in Alameda and worked perfectly for us since it is a few blocks from family who we were visiting. I had a couple of questions as we arrived and Bebe was very helpful. We had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again

Sharon is a great host! Very responsive and helpful. Her studio is lovely. It’s exactly as depicted in pictures and the colorful garden creates a beautiful surrounding. There are also little shops and stores on the same street making it convenient to get food/groceries, if needed. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!

Ashley’s studio suite was very comfortable, clean, neat, and tidy, quiet, and has many great amenities including a nice size kitchen. It was perfect for morning coffee, breakfast and evening appetizers. We opted to have most of our meals out. The sheets (so soft) and towels were fluffy white and high quality. The Queen bed was very comfortable. The studio is located within walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants. We had two amazing dinners at Almanac Brew company and Saltbreaker. Yum! We had such an amazing time at this place. It’s a little small (so ask how tall the ceilings are) and there are lots of little steps so know that. Those two things were okay with us! The place is so beautifully set up! We felt right at home. And the garden is magical. It’s also very close to most anything in Oakland so great location. Also the host is so kind and so responsive. This is a great place to stay!

Staying at Frank’s place was one of the best experiences ever for my husband and me. Besides it being so convenient and spacious and well equipped, it was a very comfortable place. We felt very much at “home!” We were there for four weeks and could imagine living in the neighborhood. Thank you, Frank.

Adorable place with a stunning view. So relaxing. Bed was super comfy. The deck was the most perfect place to sit and relax, listen to the ocean. I want to spend every weekend here! So worth it. One of my favorite stays so far for sure.

The apartment was easy to find, and in a nice location that I felt safe in. It was easily walkable to Alameda Market and lots of restaurants. The space was tidy with a full kitchen, huge comfy couch, and large bed with a memory foam mattress. The AC unit worked great and so did the washer & dryer. Definitely a great place to stay for a couple nights, I stayed for a week and was missing some home comforts like typical pantry essentials/seasonings/Keurig, wall decor, TV in the bedroom, etc. Alan was responsive and helpful towards all my questions and was easygoing about extending my stay twice. Candice and Thaddeus are wonderful hosts. The unit is very comfortable and located in a beautiful Victorian house. The unit had everything I needed for my 4 week stay.

Yeshi's home is a museum of colorful artwork from her travels around the world. Wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves.

My husband and I stayed for about 10 days. Quiet neighborhood. Rick's place was clean and cozy. When I needed to contact Rick, he was available to answer my questions right away. He was responsive and pleasant. Accessing directly from the parking lot (covered, assined space) to the apartment was very easy and quick. I would stay here again.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. Great location and very comfortable space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils to make cooking easy. There's a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit, if you have a tall or long vehicle like a truck it might not fit in the spot and there are limited uncovered spaces to park. The AC is in the living room and doesn't get back to the bedroom very well which isn't a problem unless it's a really hot day. There was one day that was 90°F and the bedroom didn't cool off. The living room and couch are comfortable and a nice spot to unwind.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

This was a gem of an airbnb! The space is beautifully put together, very clean and comfortable - I almost didn't want to leave it! The location can't be beat - just steps away from Castro and a short walk over to Dolores Park/mission. Cory was extremely pleasant to communicate with, super helpful and eager to be a resource, and very proactive in addressing a next door neighbor's construction mess. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to any future guests!
