Séjour exceptionnel avec un tour dans la nature et dans le territoire de Santa Maria avec Walter, un guide vraiment passionné par son travail qui transmet de bonnes connaissances générales sur les lieux. Vue panoramique de la jungle incroyable de la chambre et site magnifique en nature avec une grande biodiversité.

La villa estaba muy bien ubicada, de fácil acceso y con todo lo necesario. Todo muy limpio y con una decoracion muy bonita. La realidad mejor incluso que las fotos. Esta dentro de un complejo donde dan todo tipo de facilidades. David fue un excelente anfitrion, amable y encantador, aportandonos recomendaciones, y teniendo detalles con nosotros. En definitiva un aloja.iento y un anfitrion de 10.

Sehr großer offener Raum, naturnah, einfach, aber in besonderer Weise eingerichtet, mit bis zu 15 Schlafplätzen für eine Familie/Gruppe. Weiter hervorzuheben sind das leckere lokale Frühstück sowie der direkte Zugang zum zu unserer Jahreszeit (Ende März) himmelblauen Rio Celeste. Gute Kommunikation und freundlicher Empfang, insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

This place is an absolute gem! The views of the lake Arenal are fantastic and the house has a charm that the pictures don't do it justice. You have see it in person to appreciate the place. Patrick and his wife were excellent hosts, very helpful with anything we needed. The house is minutes to Nuevo Arenal, lake Arenal and lake Cote, one hour and a half from La Fortuna in one direction and from Tenorio Volcan with Rio Celeste in another direction. e Excellent location to have for a base and visit a large area. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back!

Great place to stay at! It's a private quiet place to stay at but still has walkable restaurants nearby. Huge bathroom with hot water, fridge in room and double beds. Not complaint but something to note is pool is shared by all villas and not directly outside room. A nice surprise was that breakfast was included and free from 7-10 am. I would definitely stay again!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier. Der Check In lief absolut problemlos, wir konnten sogar zwei Stunden früher einchecken. Es ist eher ein Hotel, es war immer super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal vor Ort! Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, der Boden hat größere Spalte unter das Haus… das nutzen die Kakerlaken gerne aus, um in die Zimmer, besonders in das Badezimmer, zu gelangen. Man muss sagen, dass die einzigen lebenden Exemplare draußen und im Dunkeln aufgetaucht sind! Im Zimmer lagen nur in der Dusche zwei tote Exemplare. In das (saubere) Bett, was uns besonders wichtig war, hat sich die ganze Nacht keine verirrt. Dafür haben wir abends Fledermäuse aus dem Dach vor unserem Zimmer wegfliegen gesehen & gehört. :-) Den Hoteleigenen Spà mit Hot&Cold Tube, den Schokoldenworkshop und eine eigenverantwortliche Wanderung durch die Plantage können wir ebenfalls sehr empfehlen!

Our family of four had an AMAZING time at La Finca de La Amistad!!! We were greeted right away by Jordy upon arrival. Jordy provided a chocolate samples, carmelized cacao beans and hot chocolate and coffee for ourselves and the kids! He made sure we reserved the hot and cold jacuzzis, my favorite part of the stay! He got us set up for dinner afterwards which was delicious as was breakfast!! There was chocolate macadamia nut spread for the bread at breakfast which was amazing! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and you could smell the chocolate being made as you walked to your room! We would come back to La Finca de La Amistad in a heartbeat and were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer! You must go!!!

Awesome place! Absolutely gorgeous property with tons of flora - so beautiful to walk through. There are howler monkeys that live in the forest behind that are super cool. Definitely something to go for if you’re looking for off the beaten path. Airbnb gives the wrong location instead go to the Santa Maria Volcano Lodge. Cabin itself was pretty simple but all I needed, the restaurant on the property was super good and had great wifi. Everyone was super friendly

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjours chez Ronald. La journée l’extérieur était très agréable avec les hamac et tous les aménagements extérieurs. La nuit nous étions très confortables dans le bungalow. Ronald s’est montré très réactif face a nos questions et nous a toujours aidé. Le logement est très proche de la cascade Llano del Cortez donc c’était super ! Par contre le chemin qui nous avons pris pour arriver au logement est assez rocailleux, il faut vraiment y aller doucement avec la voiture…

Our stay in Upala was peaceful and full of beautiful surroundings! The cook, Dinia, was so welcoming and accommodating! The pool was clean and my kids favorite part! Probably could put a weather strip at the bottom of the sliding cabin doors to help keep bugs out but otherwise the cabin and sleeping hearing the rain on the metal roof each night was so memorable!

We had a lovely stay at Ana’s place. It’s a very nice decorated open tree house - so of corse there are some animals - but it was no problem with the insect net around the bed. In the morning we walked together through the property were we met all the other animals and everything was explained to us. The breakfast was really delicious and we felt very welcomed by the family . Thank you so much for the experience!

die familie war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. der pool herrlich. das vogelgezwitscher wunderbar! wir sahen so viele tiere direkt vom pool aus,sogar pagageie! das frühstück jeden morgen frisch auf dem feuer zubereitet und wir durften immer frische bananen von ihrem baum nehmen! danke!

Thank you, it was an amazing stay! You feel like you are in the middle of nature and we saw many animals. The beds are comfortable and we would always stay there again.

Nos pareció un lugar muy bonito, y tranquilo. Una propiedad muy grande y con mucha naturaleza. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado. Tiene todo lo necesario. Tal y como se ve en las fotos. Definitivamente vamos a volver. Gracias Adriana y familia por su hospitalidad.

This bed and breakfast is in an amazingly beautiful location. Although we had rainy and cold weather, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the area, and it’s quite close to Selvatura Park. The value for the room is incredible - we could only imagine the views if the weather had been good for us (see reviews about the view when the weather is clear). Lastly, ask for extra blankets if the weather is rainy/cold, as the rooms aren’t heated. As the reviews state, the banana pancakes and coffee are amazing. Beautiful place!!!

Believe all of the 5-star reviews! Malekus Mountain Lodge is pure magic. We were a family of ten ranging in age from 75 to 11, and couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Costa Rican adventures. Each couple had their own room and bathroom which were very clean and comfortable, even without A/C. Fans were provided in every room and it cooled down considerably at nighttime. The communal space, living room and pool area are amazing, and the gardens, trails, bridges and ponds are absolutely stunning. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have the place all to ourselves and experience the hospitality of Roger and Rosie and their dog, Bruno. They were wonderful hosts, providing delicious breakfasts, insights into the flora and fauna, and recommendations for restaurants, activities and guides that truly felt authentic - we were usually the only North Americans around. Being conversational in Spanish is helpful. Rent a 4WD and be ready for adventure!

This accommodation was absolutely unique and exceeded all expectations with its quirky cool rooms, impeccable cleanliness, outstanding service from Travis and his team, and a perfect location - Travis took us out on his boats for a day of snorkeling, swimming and island hopping, a 5-star boat experience from start to finish, definitely will recommend.

Enjoyed surrounding, lovely cabin. Had ac. Very big shower spacious cabin. Beds were good. I would definitely include tv for the cabin with and small coffee pot. Cabin doesn’t have any appliances. They serve breakfast from 6.30-9.30 for extra charge. Nice big pool but only one sitting chair and one lounge chair. At least 6 would be nice . But over all close to town, nice view of volcano, very closed to the nice waterfall. Location is amazing! Highly recommend!

These cabins are a trek! We rented them out for two nights, and spent the day in Monteverde doing the cloud forest walks. Monteverde is awesome. It is approximately 25 minutes out of Monte Verde . You will need a 4 x 4. The views are absolutely stunning from Victor’s cabins . They are rustic , but clean , and have your basic essentials . The water was cold . It was chilly at night. Their was food provided for breakfast that was included in the cost, and they made dinner for us one night. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains. The food was traditional and tasty. My only regret was the jacuzzi had no water in it. It was situated overlooking the stunning views of the area , that would have been a sweet perk.
