Holiday rentals with lake access in Alachua County

Will definitely book again! We had an amazing time at Robyn's Nest! This place is perfect for both family getaways and romantic escapes. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The lake is stunning and full of great fish, our group caught 16 fish during our stay and had an absolute blast with the kayaks. The house had everything we needed, and we felt completely at home. The game/movie theater room was such a highlight, especially for the kids, with a great selection of fun games. If you’re bringing your own boat, the location is perfect with a boat ramp about a mile away, and you can easily dock your boat right at the house. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, particularly the sunrises, which we watched from the master bedroom. The bathroom in the master bedroom is spectacular, it’s one of those features that’ll take your breath away when you first walk in. This has been our favorite Airbnb getaway so far. We highly recommend Robyn’s Nest!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The outdoor space was a standout—very spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying meals outside. The house itself was extremely neat and well-organized, making it easy to settle in. It was ideal for our large family gathering, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The kids especially loved it—they had so much fun! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great family-friendly getaway.

This lake house is special for a family and it’s on a lake that’s considered one of Florida’s best waterways. Relax,boat, fish, swim it’s all a few steps in front of this picturesque setting! Host is nearby and very helpful if needed. House has everything needed to have a nice stay. We hope to return.

We stayed at Marianne’s place over a long weekend for my daughter’s graduation from UF. This house was a peaceful and relaxing spot for our family to come together, plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the breeze off the lake. The screened in upstairs porch/deck was our favorite location. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Would return if ever in the area.

All weekend we couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful this Airbnb is! The decor and small details really make this stay. The porch was so great for relaxing in. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family weekend. The pool was a big hit—especially for those who didn’t want to go out on the boat. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as listed. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be booking again. The only downside was that our stay wasn’t long enough!

Nice house. The house match the pictures. It was cozy with really comfortable couches. Kitchen very clean and bathrooms. Host provided enough towels throughout. Communication and instructions was easy to understand. Beware there are gators in the lake.

Wonderful stay. The cottage was exactly as described. Very clean. I felt very safe staying there by myself and would have enjoyed a longer stay where I could sit on the little porch and relax. It is really a feeling of what Florida used to be. Big trees, older homes. Quiet and relaxed studio cottage. The couch and bed were very comfortable. No frills but didn’t need or want them. If I’m back in the area for another show I’ll try and stay here again. There’s a good local pizza place in Micanopy and a good grill at the Orange Lake RV resort.

Lesley was very accommodating, friendly and helpful if a need presented itself... made extra room for our Boat trailer and two cars and her husband Steve even found a Fuse for our boast when the Bilge Pump went out. The couple made an effort to make certain you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to coming back to say at the 2 bedroom cottage on the water in early Fall. Thanks, Jane

I was looking for a place to stay on the east side of Gainesville and Shana’s place was perfect. Shana is so welcoming and the accommodations were clean, quiet, and uncomplicated. Much gratitude!

We can’t thank Diana and her family enough for making us feel right at home and for making our stay so pleasant. She was always willing to help in any way possible. We will make certain to stay here again should we find ourselves in the Ocala area next year. The mark of a great Airbnb is that your guests feel sad leaving it behind—that it becomes their home away from home that provides safety and comfort. This Airbnb hits the mark in every way, and then some. We can’t thank the Martins enough for their generosity and kindness.

We actually stayed in Citrus cottage which is located behind Honeysuckle Cottage and managed by Dave. Beds are confortable, entire place is very clean. Location worked perfect for our time in FL which included college visits and the horse shows in Ocala. Dave is available and responsive.

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

First, our host Julia was simply the best. She was friendly and very clear and up front. She was accommodating to our every need. The house was gorgeous, clean, quiet and peaceful. The beach area was just steps out the back door. we were more than pleased. Julia thank you so much. We will be back, looking forward to doing business with you again real soon.

This place was a good place to stay; we used it for sleeping/showering. Shower is a bit short and water has a unique smell, but it was fine for our stay.

We three had a great weekend, dancing at the "Dancing Fish of Lake Santa Fe" which is less than 10 minutes away. It was a rainy weekend, and Syvain's place was a great place to hang out and relax, with all the comforts of home.
