Nice apartment in the lovely little village.

Stella and George were amazing hosts. We arrived at their place on New Years Day when everything would be closed, so they bought us food to make dinner. They were very friendly and helped us feel right at warm. Their place is rustic but very comfortable and well appointed which is exactly what we wanted and fits the natural surroundings. We loved that everything in the unit was locally sourced and intentionally chosen. I can’t wait to come back to this place for more hiking.

This place is a paradise for city dwellers like ourselves. Our only neighbours were the kri-kri and a visiting cat. The nature all around is stunning and getting my teen marvel at the Milky Way at night is priceless. Yet we were not really far for what we wanted to do: entry to the Ardena Gorges hike was 300m away by foot, 700 m from the house is a cute canteen with the best Sfakian pies in Crete, neighbouring town of Anapoli has great tavernas, a supermarket and a bakery. Tons of beaches, other hikes and villages. So really a great host. The house was perfect for the 3 of us (4 could fit easy), very cozy with all the amenities that one might need. We slept so well there with no trucks / cars around! Janna was an amazing host, I basically followed just about all her recommendations of what to see, do, eat and we had a blast. Thank you Janna for everything, and I am taking the handmade olive oil soap to Paris. I really hope we will get a chance to come back and stay longer this time!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!
