My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Crete and absolutely fell in love with the place. The home is so cozy and has everything you need from the moment you walk in. Maria was super helpful and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Set in a rustic village with amazing views of the skyline, this place is one you should book for sure. Super close to the town of Rethymno, with many shops, restaurants, and beaches a short drive away.

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

Our experience here was the highlight of our stay in Crete! Federico provided us with detailed recommendations of some of his favorite spots nearby, and we visited as many as we could. Each one was a beautiful destination with no tourists and occasionally some fellow locals. And his food recommendations were some of the best food we had! What a wonderful stay! Antonios was incredibly communicative and greeted us warmly during check-in with fully stocked fridge, raki and a delicious platter of tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were exactly as described on the listing. The location is wonderful - multiple small grocery stores located within walking distance, as well as a handful of delicious tavernas and restaurants along the water and in the nearby town. The location was excellent relative to activities on the island - we visited Knossos Palace, Skotino Cave (MAGICAL), Heraklion's Archaeology Museum, Star Beach (for some scuba diving + waterslides with the kids), and an Easter music event in a nearby town. We even rented a dune-buggy for the afternoon from the rental centre right next door. The villa itself had a great outdoor bbq, air conditioning units + smart TVs in every room, a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, clothes lines, beach chairs, pool toys, you name it, it's got it!

My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

Really cool place with open and airy ambiance, from the views of the port both inside the house and from the huge roof deck, as well as the peaceful private patio. Cool vibe with a great kitchen. And the electric guitar was awesome. We stayed here just 2 nights, and we felt fortunate to have found it. It was the perfect interim stop between two larger segments of our trip. A relaxing place to regroup and do laundry, while enjoying some nice restaurants within walking distance.

The most wonderful stay in an incredible country.. We didn’t want to leave! Teta is lovely, generous, and respectful.. the perfect host. Beautiful home, perfectly located, surrounding area has so much to offer. Our neighbour left us oranges every day too! We miss it already.

Loved this villa and hope to be back sometime in the future. It is just like the pictures. Ideal for the beach and restaurants as no need for a car. Host was very accommodating and let us leave our cases in the villa as we had a late flight.

Great place to stay! Gorgeous views, large home with plenty of space.

We had a great stay at the villa - it was even more beautiful than described, with great views of the sea, beautiful pool, relaxed chill area with sun and shade. The rooms look like the photos and it's nice that each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Stamatis came to visit us on the day of arrival, gave us tips and was also on site shortly before departure to say goodbye. Very helpful host. The villa is about 20 minutes by car from Rethymno - in between there are always large supermarkets. The city itself is super beautiful in the center with many incredibly good restaurants. The beach at the villa itself is not a highlight. We got in the car and drove past Rethymno to the large long sandy beach with many small taverns. Highly recommended.

We had an extremely nice stay at the villa. The pool and the view are simply breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of space to relax. Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. Thank you for everything Stavros. We'll be back!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

Very nice accommodation and many helpful items and tools for grilling as well as for cooking yourself great dishes and cutlery. In addition, toilet paper, towels, etc. were also included free of charge, as well as free coffee and accessories. The place really had everything you need. The villa and the vacation were my best vacation ever.

We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had and able to provide recommendations for restaurants and reliable taxi driver. The villa was spotless, well stocked and the aircon worked very well. We also appreciated the midweek cleaning service provided. Thank you so much for an incredible stay, we hope to come back again!

What a fantastic place! Perched at the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful sea, our family thoroughly enjoyed the space, view and atmosphere. The house is beautifully decorated with well thought out space, we were a large family and still felt like we weren’t in each others hair. Highly recommended place to stay on the beautiful island of Crete.

Beautiful property, extremely well equipped, clean. The hosts Ellie and George were extremely helpful and responsive. The photos do not do it justice. Beautiful garden, comfy beds, well maintained. Amazing pool. The town/village of Lygaria is quiet with friendly locals in the shops and restaurants. Lovely beach with crystal clear waters. My dad was very impressed by the towels provided for bathing/swimming! Loved it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is beautiful and the beautiful garden incl. Pool invites you to linger. The villa is in incredibly good condition and spotlessly clean, so we felt very comfortable. The area is very quiet, but there are enough taverns and small villages in the immediate vicinity. The contact with the owner of the villa could not have been more pleasant and cordial. We will be happy to come back!

the view is absolutely amazing. we enjoyed the terrace and the BBQ with sea view. there is also a nice tiny path to go down to the beach within 3min by foot. (10min to go back up). our stay was outside the summer (last October week) so it was maybe not quite as warm but still very enjoyable. the pool was heated for us for a little extra, so we could use it despite the windy weather. the house was absolutely spot clean, and we had a cleaning service in the middle of the week which was very friendly and super efficient. note. the road that climbs the hill to the villa is very steep but very manageable. this seems to be same for pretty much every villa in the neighborhood. during our stay we were in regular contact with Angelika's brother Kostas via whats app. He answered all of our questions within minutes and gave useful tips, which made us feel very well taken care of. we warmly recommend that place!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Villa and felt at home in this peaceful and luxurious space. Highly recommend Georgina, Jenny and George as a team supporting our chef experiences, local recommendations and house needs. We came with another couple and had plenty of space - and could easily see coming back with our extended family! Highlights: snorkeling off the pier at the house, a pet gecko, in-house massages with Angela, and morning coffee with gorgeous sunrise views. We laid out by the pool daily.
