Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Agia Pelagia

Together with my wife and daughter I really did enjoy our stay at Elenis Apartment! We had to leave Crete earlier than expected (due to some private stuff). Eleni was very understanding and accepted our request of shortening the stay. We got a refund of 3 days which was very accommodating!! The flat got everything you need, we spent most of our time on the balcony looking at the sea. The beach close by is nice and quiet. The next restaurant is in walking distance of 25minutes, we do recommend a rental car though.

My wife loved this place. Everything from the new modern unit to the garden grounds. The bed was comfortable and the private parking area was also very convenient. The beach is walking distance, only half a mile away(downhill). But we didn’t feel like walking uphill back to the unit, se we just drove. An adorably friendly cat visits daily, which my wife also enjoyed.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Andy is a great woman and a great host, friendly, cheerful, we felt at home with her. Separate entrance, rest in peace and quiet. The studio is very clean and cozy, it was nice to spend time on the terrace full of flowers. She treated us like we were her closest family. I greet and recommend this place with all my heart♥️. I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Majo with my family for two weeks in August. The villa itself is beautiful and ideally located in Agia Palagia, just 20 minutes from Heraklion and about the same distance from the airport. The property is brand new and impeccably maintained, featuring five comfortable bedrooms. The upstairs rooms offer stunning sea views, making mornings truly special. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality. Maria, the owner, is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to cater to your every need, acting almost like a personal concierge. Whether it's arranging beach trips, restaurant reservations, or even a manicure, Maria has it covered. And the massage—simply the best I've ever had! Rena, who looks after the villa, prepares and serves delicious breakfasts daily and cooks amazing dinners in their charming wine room, separate from the main house. Her culinary skills are outstanding. I highly recommend villa Majo. Perfect stay !

This is everything you hope for in an Airbnb. Beautiful, cozy, all the details and above all, hospitality. The house was full of art and personal touches, which we all appreciated. They had thought of everything a guest might need. Alexis brought us delicious food. The yard was private, and I took multiple naps on the patio. My family and I loved this little house. Because we were just a short walk from Knossos Palace, it was easy for us to get there before the crowds. I recommend getting tickets for 8 am to beat the crowds and the heat. Thank you 😊

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

We were very happy with the place. Emmanuel and his family were great hosts and cleaned the apartment every day, as well as changed the sheets and towels. We even received a small basket of fruit, wine and something salty. Very thoughtful. If you have any questions or comments, Emmanuel was always ready and answered us quickly. The location is very nice and especially the view. However, the beach is a little further away than actually described, so we had to rent a car in between. With a rental car, you have several beaches in the immediate vicinity, so everything is quickly accessible. We would highly recommend the accommodation and would like to stay there again if we get the chance.

My friend and I spent 5 days at Dimitris' accommodation and were very satisfied with our stay. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the view. Several beaches can be reached on foot. There are many taverns in Agia Pelagia. However, the location is also well suited for exploring the island. For example, we were in Matala, Heraklion and Rethymno. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Dimitris was always available and responded quickly to our questions. A booklet with information and recommendations was available on site. Dimitris was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach and local spots. We especially enjoyed the pool—clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The host was welcoming and helpful throughout. Would happily return!

We stayed at Nikolaos’s apartment for 5 days - 2 adults and 1 teenager. The apartment was very comfortable for the three of us - there is a balcony and roof top area which we used every day. The beach is 100m away and Nikolaos has a range of water sports gear you can use (fins, snorkels etc). There are many restaurants, shops and mini markets all within walking distance. Nikolaos and his wife are the perfect hosts. He booked a taxi for our late arrival from Heraklion airport and his wife drove us back for a small fee. They are super friendly and outgoing. The small village of Agia Pelagia is perfect for a beach getaway. We 100% recommend staying at Nikolaos’s!

The villa is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures on the website. We absolutely loved our stay here! Although there were other guests at the resort, we didn't see them at all, so it felt like we were the only people there. The facilities, including the pool, sun beds both in and out of the pool, which were incredible! Stefani showing us around when we first got there and explained that cleaning service was included, which we didn't expect. This made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The apartment is very pleasant : clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped. The small balcony and roof terrace are a real plus and add to the apartment's charm. Erietta and Manolis provide numerous recommendations for discovering Heraklion and its best addresses, which is particularly appreciated. Very responsive and attentive, they ensure that everything runs smoothly. An excellent experience, which I recommend without hesitation!

Marianna’s place was great - we had a very pleasant time there. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is stunning, and the location is easy to access. Her mum, Sonia, kindly made us a local pie upon arrival, and she was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes to the Heraklion city centre. Highly recommended!

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful landlord. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is next to a busy road with the necessary noise.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Kostis was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was absolutely amazing and close to everything we wanted to see. The place itself was clean, comfortable and had the best view. I would definitely book it again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay
