Monthly Rentals in Afton Down

Love this part of the island - quiet and beautiful countryside and sea nearby. The flat is in a great location near to pubs and local grocery store and cafe. The beds are comfy and the flat spotless. Been here twice now and will come again. A deckchair or two would be nice for the garden but that’s down to personal choice.

I have stayed at this very enjoyable place a number of times and Anna has made improvements every time. West Wight is beautiful and Coastguard Cottage plugs you straight into it. Now with the plus of a magnificent new restaurant on the seafront about 100m away.

A beautiful and unique holiday place. Tucked away and hard to find which gave it added charm. Good location for walks. Peaceful garden with views. It had everything we needed and more. In Freshwater we learned about the fascinating lives of literary heroes and well known figures in the Victorian era - such as Tennyson, Garibaldi, Darwin, pioneer photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, Lewis Carroll, Edward Lear and Charles Kingsley who all met and lived nearby. Don’t miss the Dimbola museum and cafe.

Well laid out tiny home in it’s own garden at the rear of the house. Good location for walking and exploring the coastal path. Great cafe around the corner with a local shop for supplies. Will definitely be back.
