Johnnycake Flats Inn was the perfect New England getaway! Debra and her husband Jim are wonderful people and the best hosts. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that kept us fueled for the day. Jim is great at offering up places to visit and mapping everything out for easy navigating. If you are looking for a peaceful, homey place to stay, with fantastic hosts, look no further!

Carin & Luke were the perfect hosts; warm, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The bed & breakfast is a true retreat away from the city. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the personal towel warmer is stellar in the cooler months. Breakfast was delicious and unique in sampling fresh from site and local food. The dogs and sheep were a welcome addition. I'm grateful Carin & Luke gave me the chance to stay during the 2024 N.A. Total Eclipse, allowing me to experience both the Milky Way galactic core and Totality on the same day at the bed & breakfast.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

Great location on Rt 7 made it easy to get around. Cottage room was good sized for three people and my daughter's pet bunny. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We had a great stay and will do it again.

Everything about our stay at the West Hill House B&B was outstanding!! First of all, the COVID precautions made us feel extremely safe: masks required and having guests eat in separate rooms of the house. The entire stay was so cozy and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The room was always clean, comfortable, and the bed was amazing! Peter and Susan were always available for help and to recommend things to do in the area. Their thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail for the entire stay did not go unnoticed and we felt so welcomed into their home. We can't wait to return!

Mick and Karen were amazing hosts! Our stay was so comfortable - the rooms and common areas were so clean and inviting. The weather was colder when we visited, so we were able to enjoy a fire on the back porch and chat with other visitors. Such a nice touch! The location was great, very close to Sugarbush and not far from surrounding mountains. The food beyond exceeded our expectations, such amazing variety and ingredients (locally sourced), the most gourmet breakfasts I have ever had. Karen was very thorough in accommodating one person in our group with food allergies. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience and an amazing place located just down the road from the ski resort. We will come back for sure. We felt right at home and made some friends at the same time.

Do yourself a favor and stay with Mick and Karen. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts—you leave their inn feeling like you made 2 new friends. :) We plan to return next time we find ourselves in the Mad River Valley.

This place is magical. Feather beds, beautiful grounds, perfect location in one of the best places in VT. Mick and Karen are kind, thoughtful, and incredible hosts. Each morning, they cook out of this world breakfasts. The breakfasts stand out on their own—creative, rich, filling. Our carriage house was charming, spotless, and easy with a 3 year old. The location here can’t be beat; you have easy access to Warren and Waitsfield. This was a fantastic place to stay and I hope to return.

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

Footsteps from mountain biking and hiking, and minutes from skiing, the location can't be beat. They thought of everything, and then went a step further! Dining with them is an experience all by itself that will leave you wondering if you're dreaming or really awake!
