William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! Gabriel had great communication and was very accommodating to our family. The basement made for the perfect retreat for the kiddos, complete with a train table. The location was remote but still easy to find and not far from the main road. Peaceful and private with the best view I have ever had at a rental in Vermont (which is saying a lot given how beautiful the state is) The house was well stocked and clean. Jeannie was very accommodating but not overbearing at all. Would absolutely return.

Lovely barn in picturesque Vermont. More than glamping but not cushy living. Shower gets hot immediately, full kitchen. We were there in October so the barn gets very cold. Bedding was nice and warm, and we slept amazingly well but hanging in the living room was hard given how cold it was. Must layer up! Jeff was lovely and kind. The surrounding towns are nothing short of quaint and charming. Loved our stay!

We stayed for my daughter’s Midd graduation. It’s less than a 20 minute drive to Middlebury. Ardie and Mike are such lovely, hard working, kind and receptive human beings. I loved meeting them. They were so welcoming and accommodating, down to earth people. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - in any one of the cabins.

This is the Adirondack charm, but with much clear beds and kitchen ware. All you need. We will be back.

We stayed at Kevin's place for my son's graduation from Middlebury College. We were there for three nights. While it is only a two bedroom home, their configuration of beds made it easy for us to sleep many more people (as long as they don't mind not having walls). The view is stunning. They also have tons of "toys." We hadn't chosen the house for this reason, but the young people loved the garage converted into "fun room" with billiards, foos ball, and bar. The kitchen was modern, clean and well equipped. While it was really cold when we arrived, and I was concerned about being warm enough, their mini-splits did the job along with a space heater they keep in the house. Two of my guests noted the AIrBnB listing and said they would like to return with their extended families. Kevin was kind and allowed us an early check in, which was convenient. The house had everything we needed, and everything we wanted. It really fit the bill for our group.

This place was truly the best. if you want something extremely relaxing with a beautiful water stream sound and a nice view I would suggest this place.

Lovely home and would 100% visit again. The porch sitting over Lake Champlain is one of a kind - we saw many of the surrounding properties from the water during our time in Essex and I don’t think there’s another porch in town with that type of water view - can’t beat it! We spent 10 days in late August with our 3 yr old daughter and some grandparents in/out over the course of the visit. The home was perfect for our getaway. The hosts, Lisa and John were flexible and welcoming. The space had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen was great and we cooked many meals at home. The open kitchen/dining/living floor plan is perfect for spending time together and so cozy… all alongside an unbeatable view.

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s family cabin. Nice layout for a larger group, beautiful views, secluded cabin.

the home is wonderful. the game room is great for all ages. the accomodations are just what you need in a lake spot. the view is beautiful and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it as well as other activities. small level yard is a plus w kiddos. the dock is in decent shape and was great to have so we had quick access to our boat. amenities listed were all there and major plus for the washer and dryer in unit. makes a Vaca so much easier. the place really is great. from the location to the accomodations it's all you can ask for. the host was also responsive and timely and willing to explain anything you asked. she was a pleasure to work with. most importantly I felt I could rely on her. I would recommend this place to anyone. wonderful experience.
