Place was wonderful and Laura was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect before we showed up couldn’t ask for a better host

Our family - 4 children, 3 or 4 adults - stay here once a year. The property is excellent space for us. It has enough common area and a very adequate kitchen. Mary keeps it exceptionally clean, as the neutral scent attests. The location is central for most Abilene activities.

Very close to Hendricks South Hospital, we made the trip many times and it was always easy and fast! The house was perfectly laid out, the bed rooms were far enough away that naps were uninterrupted with the TV on in the living room and cooking in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved staying at Home away from home! It was perfect for our stay in Abilene. The host was quick to respond and the home had everything we needed! I will be booking again next year for our trip again! PS…the mattresses are great!

My family had a wonderful stay at Haven on Bacon in Abilene! From start to finish, it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal — in a quiet, walkable neighborhood with easy access to ACU and cozy eateries. The fully equipped kitchen, reliable Wi‑Fi, and thoughtful extras made relaxing easy. Big shoutout to the host for smart touches like coffee essentials, board games and electric scooters. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful — quick to answer questions and made check-in smooth and stress-free . This was an outstanding stay in Abilene — clean, comfortable, and hosted with care. Overall I’d absolutely recommend Haven on Bacon to anyone visiting the area and would definitely book again!

The atmosphere was incredibly inviting , serene , and a home away from home ! Great gathering place at dining room for all hours with of the day . We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch ! It was a great mixture of modern and fabulous antiques . Truly appreciated the peace of God that was felt as we rested during our conference time . The host were very timely and available which helped our stay .

This crew trailer is the perfect place for a bed and a place to eat after you work 10 hrs a day on a construction site. Every room has their own private bathroom and shower and security door lock. The common shared space has washer and dryer, fridge, microwave, stove, oven and coffee pot. Wifi is great. Roku TV's in the rooms. Highly recommend for those working out of town.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and tidy and I appreciated that there were cleaning supplies available to use to clean up behind ourselves. The host Traci was also extremely kind and supportive and also knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely stay again.

Great little space for a long weekend! We locked ourselves out at one point on a Saturday and they immediately dropped everything to come unlock the door for us. Has everything you need to cook and do laundry - perfect space for a cozy retreat!

Sarah’s place was a wonderfully peaceful retreat from my chaotic life in San Antonio. Everything was as described and better! The highlight of my trip was enjoying a lovely, relaxing soak in the tub. Divine!

Celia's place is just amazing: peacful, nice enviroment, filled with everything you need. Celia and her husband are the best hosts ever: we had great conversations, we really felt like home - this is more than just an Airbnb, it's the best of Texas!

Sarah is a great host. The home is affordable and has everything you could possibly need. Kitchen with stove, oven, and full sized fridge; bathroom, bedroom, couch, etc. It was convenient for me because it was near my work area.

This was a very nice place that was reasonably price. Everything I needed was available. Decorated nicely! Enjoyed my stay

The location was perfect for us as we were close to the house of a family member. The place was perfect for us and well equipped. The only criticism was the road noise and the noise from the next door unit as the walls are paper thin however this was not a major issue and the host made sure everything was available for our stay, coffee, creamer, laundry pods, dishwasher pods & bin bags. No fuss living.

Nicely appointed and comfortable. Very clean. We enjoyed the Keurig which came supplied with some coffee, and the refrigerator had plenty of water drinks. Liked the fact that you could drive into the garage and shut the garage door for safe entry. Instructions and additional information provided in a notebook answered any questions we had, and checkout instructions were clear. All around, a very nice stay. I will definitely go back if I am in Abilene again.
