The cottage has spectacular views, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). A small enclosed yard to the rear and a bench and parking area to the front. Included in the price is electricity and heating, a basket of logs and kindling for the log burning stove in the cottage, cupboard items such as tea, coffee. There is a smart tv, should you wish to use it (the view is the best tv!) and WiFi. The house is a traditional fishing cottage in a quiet village situated on the NE250 route.

Lovely flat . In the town but not noisy and close to the beach with a nice walk to the harbour. Extremely happy with the flat. It’s roomy. Bed is comfortable. Lovely choice of items for breakfast. Highly recommend it

We enjoyed a really lovely mini break in the beautiful and spacious Kittiwake Cottage, with our wee pup safe in the secure garden. The beautiful Middle Eastern touches made me feel totally at home, and the views both of the sea to the front and the garden to the back were wonderful. Annie gave us a recommendation to visit Dunnottar Castle which was dramatic. Johnshaven itself is lovely, with its local lobster sandwiches, great wee gift gallery, friendly pub and fabulous tea room. Annie and Yousef were both charming, and their home is a real wee gem, so grab it if you can. Thanks again.

Claire’s cottage is in a lovely spot overlooking the sea. It’s very peaceful and has all the amenities you would need. It’s exceptionally clean and clutter free. Claire is on hand if there are any problems. There is a quaint hotel nearby (The Anchor Inn) which serves good food. There is also a coffee shop and a lobster shop nearby. Perfect base for exploring the area.

Visiting all the way from Canada, it was a lovely spot on our Honeymoon. The location was perfect, the amenities were great and it was super comfy. Dean was also very responsive and pleasure to interact with. My husband and I would definitely recommend this place as a must for staying at.

Breathtaking view! Very clean and comfortable livingroom! Little snacks where waiting for two- and fourlegged visitors. The preparations for our dog were super sweet... extra blanket and towel. Outstanding! The host was very friendly and super helpful! After we forgot stuff at our departure we found a way how to get the things back. Thank you, Claire 🧡

This cosy apartment has everything you need for a relaxing break away. Amanda has thought of everything and was very friendly and responsive to any questions. We had such a lovely Hogmanay/New Year holiday, thank you.

Found the property with no problem, instructions were perfect. Managed to park on the street nearby. Walked up the stairs, into the flat and then discovered the sun room. Within 30 seconds we saw dolphins swimming by and fell in love with the place. The flat is fantastic and well maintained. Nearly everything you need is provided including a pair of binoculars. We had meant to buy a pack of cards and leave them for future guests, but completely forgot about it. (I blame the sun room) Good starting point for your morning run and the power shower is great for afterwards. The only problem is that you find yourself constantly sitting in the sun room staring out to sea with no idea what you were meant to be doing. The lookout is incredibly relaxing and the perfect spot for exploring the area. The whole family can’t wait to go back. Top tip: Check out the Yett on arrival and familiarise yourself with the recycling bin setup.

We spent a marvellous long weekend in Collieston. The cottage’s location is unbeatable with south facing windows looking over the sea and the harbour a stones throw away. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The check in process was easy and as described. Our hot tub was out of order, so the owner kindly arranged for us to use on nearby. As an FYI to potential guests, there is no freezer or microwave in the kitchen! Other than that, our stay was impeccable.
