We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cottage and our son loved the farm animals and surrounding gardens. The space was warm, comfortable and very clean. We loved collecting fresh eggs as fruits from the garden in the mornings, what a special treat!

We loved our stay! Beautiful space to enjoy for the weekend. The goats, fireplace and view from back deck were highlights. Hopefully we will be back soon! 😊

David and Louise's bnb was so cozy and peaceful, surrounded on all sides by beautiful and lush scenery. The cabin had everything we could possibly need and was decorated and styled charmingly. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

The view from the master bedroom is truly spectacular..it honestly can’t get any better 🙂. All amenities were thoughtfully provided and it was a delight to simply cook our favorite meals in-house and relax. The firewood experience at both spots around the cottage was such a unique and comforting touch. We genuinely enjoyed every moment and have decided to make this our annual retreat to celebrate our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. Thank you again for making us feel so special. Great location, easy access to some great wineries and a wonderful place to relax.

We had a lovely time at this peaceful getaway. The location was perfect—close enough to local attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. Our host was warm and welcoming when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights for our daughter was feeding the cows every evening—she absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed swimming in the river. While we didn’t manage to catch any fish or yabbies, it was still a fun and memorable experience. A great stay overall—we’d definitely come back again!

The blue wren cottage is lovely, and the blue wren theme is so sweet. Everything you need is there and it’s very cosy and comfortable. Only a very short drive to Alexandra town centre.

This place is aesthetically very pleasing and pretty incredible! Kristy has thought of every little detail to ensure people staying have what they need and what they didn’t know they need. Great place to relax and reset! Fire place is epic!

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

A little haven in the country. So peaceful and quiet and just what the doc ordered. Beautifully appointed, lovely and warm as the rain lashed down outside and comms with Genevieve were excellent. Everything was top notch and we’d highly recommend a stay here with the Roos for company!

I loved my stay at Honeysuckle Farm. The cottage had everything to make yourself right at home. The fireplace, heating and electric blankets made the stay in winter so comfortable and cosy. The bath was amazing and spacious. The view was also a treat and the goats were hilarious. My stay was peaceful and calming- exactly what I needed. Emily and Aaron were very helpful and accommodating on such a last minute stay. I’ll definitely be staying there again. Thank you! Also the platter was 👌

Believe all the 5 star reviews, this place is a gem! We can't wait to come back one day. We enjoyed cooking in the fantastically well appointed kitchen, the bed was comfortable and the whole place was super cosy. Loved sitting by the fireplace (and on the heated toilet seat!) when the weather was super chilly outside and my husband enjoyed the sauna experience for a small extra charge. This place is full of character, exactly as described, and feels warm and welcoming. The little cake and chocolate waiting for us on arrival plus fresh farm eggs delivered to the door were a bonus. This is the most perfect farm stay. The lodge was secluded and very cosy. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the couch overlooking the hills and watching the cows and alpacas. We were obsessed with the heated flooring in the bathroom 😂. The wind was quite strong but felt warm and cosy inside. Highly recommend

Blame Mabel, The Sweetest Cabin on the Vines was honestly the cutest little escape I’ve had in ages. I stayed for three nights and completely fell in love with the rustic charm, the peaceful vineyard views, and all the thoughtful touches that made it feel so special. Mel was an absolute gem, bringing over fresh eggs and natural yoghurt that made my slow country mornings even sweeter. Tucked away in the heart of Anakie, it’s the perfect place to pause, breathe, and soak in the beauty of simple living.

We had such a fantastic stay. The house is so thoughtfully pieced together and Tricia was such an accomodating host. Heater on got arrival, bottle of wine from the winery next door and offered flexibility with checking in and out. Fantastic property and host!

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a truly unique experience. My partner and I stayed here and had an amazing time. Lynne is a fantastic host, we had a great all around stay and best of all was meeting all of the animals of the sanctuary.

We loved our stay at Poplars Cottage. It's located on a beautiful property with private surrounds. The residence is a well maintained original 1930s cottage with some modern touches (kitchen, bathroom, and upgraded fireplace). We also enjoyed walking in nature and engaging with some of the horses on the property. Yasmine is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back!

A rare gem—pure bliss by the lake! We stayed one night at Cottage by the Lake, but it felt like a world away from everything. Just 5 minutes from Hanging Rock, this stunning waterfront property features two tranquil lakes, complete with a rowboat and kayaks that guests are free to enjoy. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully appointed with a wood fireplace (firewood generously supplied). The upper-level attic bedroom is spacious and cosy, while the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts Ann and Kevin were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d be remiss not to mention Jock, the sweetest dog who welcomed us on arrival and came by for regular visits. He loves pats and hugs and truly made us feel at home. This place is a nature lover’s paradise—kangaroos all around, stunning views, and absolute peace. A rare find we won’t forget. Wish we stayed longer. We will be back for a longer visit next time!

Had a lovely weekend at Brylinbrook. The setting is gorgeous and our daughter loved feeding the chickens and walking around the farm. There's also a sand pit and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. The apartment above the stables is as pictured with everything you could need (log fire a huge bonus for cooler nights). Brian and Rhonda are wonderful hosts. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

This Farmstay was one of our favourite places that we have stayed not only in Victoria but across the various states and countries to which we have travelled. Veronica has really thought through the guest experience and has everything covered that you could think of. The surrounds and views are stunning, the interior of the property is so well done and the animals amazing (bird life, farm animals and native wildlife (especially Wally the wombat)). If anything, the property was better than expected from the photos. Veronica was the perfect balance of helpful and available, whilst respecting our privacy. It is the sort of place where you are central enough to many places to keep you busy or you can be content just staying at the property, doing very little and enjoying the spa bath. We are already planning our next visit for later this year!
