FIVE STAR RATING! The location was perfect and we loved everything about the apartment! Very clean, spacious and the bed was cozy! We were in walking distance from all of the downtown shops and restaurants! We would definitely rebook from Linda and Chris the next time we visit Decorah.

The unit and neighborhood was a good location to all the places we went to. Kaleen was a great host in providing all that we needed and quickly responded to our questions. We enjoyed the experience of Decorah and would recommend her place to others looking for a comfortable place to stay. We’ll done!

We came to town for the Crater Race and this place was perfect! We were close to everything but it was quiet and peaceful. It was amazing to have a nice shower and comfortable bed to clean up and rest after running on the beautiful trails in town!

Parking spots are small but this listing worked well for two guys on a hunting trip. Loved easy access to downtown Decorah restaurants.

This place is new and very nice. They allowed us to have our dogs with plenty of areas to walk them.

Dorthea's hospitality really stood out in this Airbnb compared to many others. She is fantastic at ensuring you have everything you need. The schoolhouse is beautiful, with high ceilings and many windows, making it bright and cheerful. The view from the deck is stunning, featuring two very old willow trees. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children, as there is a nice swing set and playground equipment on the property.

Perfect for my family to gather for the annual deer hunt. Always a pleasure staying here.

Great place to stay if you have a small family or two small family’s. Host was very responsive and attended to any details swiftly. We had a slight problem with the actual internet company. But the mother in law came by and was nothing but nice and trying to help us get it working. Unfortunately we didn’t get it working but got to see the before and after pictures of the entire project which was mazing and hearing the story . 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful, cozy cottage. A quiet neighborhood , within walking distance to downtown,a few miles from Luther college, and the local Co-op. The home is clean and comfortable. Everyone in our party said, they enjoyed the home and felt relaxed, safe, and at ease.

I cannot even begin to explain how incredible of stay this was for me and my friends and family. Nancy’s home was so welcoming, and well set up with anything you could possibly need. On top of that, it was beautiful and serene and a little foal was there in the field to greet us when we arrived! The amenities were stunning and the setting was welcoming. I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Jerry’s charming log cabin was a delightful place to stay during Luther graduation weekend! A little off the beaten path, in a good way! The setting is serene and the house is cozy and inviting.

We have stayed at Dustin’s Airbnb multiple times and have always had a great experience. It’s consistently clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. We will be back again next year!

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with scenic landscape and river access then this is the place. The area provides an off-the-grid feel (very spotty cell reception) but still allows for access to wifi at the house to stay connected if that is your thing. There is a park within walking distance that has a kayak launch area and several good restaurant options only a short 20-30 minute drive away in neighboring towns. Nick is an excellent host and is responsive almost immediately if you need anything. This is my second time here and I am already looking forward to coming back a third time!

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

It was the perfect girls weekend house. We had everything we wanted. The home is beautiful. We sat on the deck each morning and sipped coffee and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable and towels and linen were fresh and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed for a short two night stay. The home is ideally located next to a Kwik Trip for any forgotten items and a bar/restaurant next door. It was the perfect home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deck was phenomenal as the weather allowed us to use it morning, noon and night. The kitchen space allowed us to have more than 'one cook in the kitchen' without getting in one another's ways. The amenities and extra touches were so thoughtful - Impact Coffee at the coffee bar and a bowl of sweets as we entered - to name a couple. We love walking around Decorah. Since we were in town for Luther College graduation, we had easy access to both downtown and the college. We also had runners staying and the access to the Trout Run Trail was ideal for them. Sean introduced himself to us as we were packing up and we were able to personally thank him for his hospitality. We would definitely stay again.
