Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Winneshiek County

Dorthea's hospitality really stood out in this Airbnb compared to many others. She is fantastic at ensuring you have everything you need. The schoolhouse is beautiful, with high ceilings and many windows, making it bright and cheerful. The view from the deck is stunning, featuring two very old willow trees. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children, as there is a nice swing set and playground equipment on the property.

Grants property was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Location is walkable to downtown to enjoy restaurants/ shopping etc. Many trails to hike and bike in the area.

Great place to stay if you have a small family or two small family’s. Host was very responsive and attended to any details swiftly. We had a slight problem with the actual internet company. But the mother in law came by and was nothing but nice and trying to help us get it working. Unfortunately we didn’t get it working but got to see the before and after pictures of the entire project which was mazing and hearing the story . 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful, cozy cottage. A quiet neighborhood , within walking distance to downtown,a few miles from Luther college, and the local Co-op. The home is clean and comfortable. Everyone in our party said, they enjoyed the home and felt relaxed, safe, and at ease.

I cannot even begin to explain how incredible of stay this was for me and my friends and family. Nancy’s home was so welcoming, and well set up with anything you could possibly need. On top of that, it was beautiful and serene and a little foal was there in the field to greet us when we arrived! The amenities were stunning and the setting was welcoming. I only wished I could have stayed longer.

We had such an incredibly stay here, the wildlife is immense and it's so comforting and quiet! Such a beautiful home, very clean, well stocked, we felt super welcome! We will be back!

Jerry’s charming log cabin was a delightful place to stay during Luther graduation weekend! A little off the beaten path, in a good way! The setting is serene and the house is cozy and inviting.

This home was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend! Everything was so well stocked- from the toilet paper and towels to the bottled waters in the fridge and extra linens. It was nice to be able to pull into the spacious garage and eat together at the kitchen counter and table. It took 15 minutes or less to drive to all the attractions and activities we wanted to do. All the sleeping arrangements worked great and everyone reported them to be comfortable.

Just perfect for a sister’s getaway. Adorable and fun. Michelle was fantastic - helpful and prompt in responding. Hope to return again (and again, and….)!

Not my first with Tanya but was in this actual place. Have never been disappointed. She is wonderful to work with and her places are lovely! Will definately be staying again.

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Dawn is an excellent host. Her place is spacious, very clean with a full kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer. The bed (I slept in one—was there solo) was very comfortable. The living room space has two comfortable recliners with a TV and good reading light. I was in Elkader for a family funeral and would definitely book with Dawn again.

Kaleen’s place is a perfect spot in Decorah. Short walk to downtown and a lovely home to return to. Bonus fire pit and back patio! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

It was the perfect girls weekend house. We had everything we wanted. The home is beautiful. We sat on the deck each morning and sipped coffee and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable and towels and linen were fresh and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed for a short two night stay. The home is ideally located next to a Kwik Trip for any forgotten items and a bar/restaurant next door. It was the perfect home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deck was phenomenal as the weather allowed us to use it morning, noon and night. The kitchen space allowed us to have more than 'one cook in the kitchen' without getting in one another's ways. The amenities and extra touches were so thoughtful - Impact Coffee at the coffee bar and a bowl of sweets as we entered - to name a couple. We love walking around Decorah. Since we were in town for Luther College graduation, we had easy access to both downtown and the college. We also had runners staying and the access to the Trout Run Trail was ideal for them. Sean introduced himself to us as we were packing up and we were able to personally thank him for his hospitality. We would definitely stay again.
