Welcome to the Oneota Vista, a private apartment on the second floor of our house with beautiful views of the Oneota valley. Our home is located on the Trout Run bike trail (an 11-mile paved loop which winds through Decorah). It is a mile walk to downtown Decorah, and less than 2 miles from Luther College. This cozy apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, canoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, shopping, and checking out the local breweries.

This Himmelsk Sted is located on Water Street in the heart of Decorah's Shopping/Dinning District. The Studio is nestled above Revelation boutique. Relax and refresh with an amazing downtown view with a new outdoor space! Find nature within all of the Bluff Country Trails and Rivers. This is a great place for a couple to get away, friends looking to catch up and play games, or a small family get together. This historic 1900's building will be your perfect Scandinavian get away!

The Retreat

The Retreat at is a completely renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment within a historic building built in 1874. The Retreat occupies the entire second floor of the brick house which was completely renovated in 2014. Located just 1 block from downtown Decorah and in walking distance to many popular restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, boutiques, and beautiful walking/biking trails. Abundant natural light, 10 ft. ceilings, and full of historic charm with modern conveniences.

Butterfly Park Retreat #1

Welcome to the quaint community of Decorah. This getaway is located steps from the local attractions which include the Butterfly Park, Pulpit Rock Brewery, Landing Market, Whippy Dip, and Vesterheim Museum to name a few. The property is located near the Upper Iowa River ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. The Trout Run Trail is a picturesque path passing along dikes and abandoned rail beds ideal for biking, walking, and running.

Enjoy the comforts of country living while traveling the scenic roads along the Upper Iowa River. Berry Hill Flat sits perched on a bluff above Trout River Valley. Trout live in beautiful places and so do we! The Flat offers a king bed in the bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, twin bed, and private ground floor entrance. It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.

Our cozy, private newly renovated 2 bedroom upstairs apartment is located within walking distance of downtown Decorah (2 blocks) and is located right across the street of Fareway Grocery Store if you desire to do your own cooking or within walking distance of all the downtown restaurants, bars, library, churches, and fun local attractions.

A scenic 10-minute drive from Decorah, IA. A place to explore & rest. From your private flat, enjoy a sunrise overlooking the valley. Walk the trails or winding rural roads. Close to Decorah Eagles, Seed Savers Exchange, & Carl Homsted's art studio. We live in the upper floor of this modern home. Guests access the apartment using stairs.
