Welcome to Dough Cottage, Whitstable. We offer a personal touch; a homely and comfortable space, where you can cook in our modern, fully stocked kitchen, then dine indoors, or venture out to the sunny, enclosed garden. Make use of the charcoal barbecue and comfy sun-trap seating area. In the evening, stay cosy around the smart TV with Netflix, and library of DVDs or listen to music, play board games and have a leisurely look through the varied books and magazines. Cosy self contained annex with off road parking. 25 mins walk to the harbour where you can sample the famous Whitstable oysters. 17 mins walk to town centre where there are numerous independent shops. 15 mins walk from train station, easy access to London. 10 mins walk to Crab and Winkle Line. 10 minute drive to Canterbury, 25 minute drive to Maidstone, 20 minute drive to Thanet. Please note that there’s building in a nearby field so occasionally some noise may be heard during the daytime.

Charming cottage just a short walk from the sea

Traditional terraced house converted into a stylish one bedroom home that is yours exclusively. It is an ideal home for a couple looking for a restorative break by the seaside. We live here part time so it is fully equipped and the amenities are all available for you to use, including beach kit. Please note that we have a strict adults only policy and that the maximum number of adults is 2. We love animals, but unfortunately we also have a ‘no pets’ policy as well.

A stylish, laid back retreat minutes from the sea. With the option of enjoying a relaxing sauna and invigorating cold plunge which is paid for separately. Alba Lodge is a light, airy, double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed and freshen up in the large walk in shower. The kitchen is a reclaimed carpenter's bench equipped with all the essentials. The sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

Double cast iron bed and sofa bed suitable for a child. Toiletries, towels and bedding. It has been built and decorated with attention to detail to make it a special place to relax by the seaside.
