Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect as a base for a medium sized group of friends spending a weekend away together.

Great beach location, easy check in, parking is on nearby street, its easier to arrive before the Indian opens so you can use the parking bay to offload as you are not meant to use it. Not suitable for someone with mobility issues due to stairs (2nd floor). Modern decorated with tea/coffee/ sugar and milk for drinks. I couldn’t get the shower to go hot but my husband could so thats a me problem. I think its nicely done, but it would be a suggestion to have hard flooring though-out with allowing dogs -to make it easier to clean.

was sent clear instructions on how to park and get in. found the apartment spotless and welcoming. nicely furnished and not too much clutter useful items in the bathroom if you may have forgotten something. a most pleasant stay.

I booked this place for my parents and they enjoyed every minute of their stay at Michelle’s place, wishing they could extend their stay even longer. The apartment is identical to the photos. Michelle maintained contact throughout the stay and was always responsive, if needed. A beautiful home and a beautiful view, with an attentive host. Everything is close by, walking distance or venturing out in the car. All in all a very peaceful and easy stay, which is what everyone is looking for. Thanks again Michelle!

fawn is a great host, very freindly. great location especially for dogs. plenty of room for dogs to run and play. absolutly beautiful location. great dog freindly resturants near by.. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. I recommend Fawns place for a great vacation stop.

This is a perfectly situated, comfortable stunning property, which has a very unique history to it. It had everything we needed for a great stay. With plenty of stunning walks, bars and restaurants. Right on the door step. We’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property and the hosts to anyone.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Nice cosy place with sight and sounds of the sea. Off road parking onsite, means you can forget the car and enjoy walks on the beach and the many coffee shops in Cullercoats and Tynemouth.

The house was really lovely with everything we needed and more. Lyn had thought of everything for both humans and dogs and she had also provided an extremely generous and much appreciated welcome hamper. The hot tub and pool table were a big hit with the young (and not so young!) adults in our party and the garden was fantastic for the dog. The surrounding area is beautiful and we were able to do many dog walks in the local area. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and would love to revisit it at some point!

Lovely spacious house with a homely feel to it. Suited our needs perfectly and had a fabulous weekend celebrating a 21st birthday. Lovely coastal walk and great local food. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

We had an amazing stay in this apartment right on the beach. Comfortable beds, everything was clean and neat. Spacious (we were 4 adults) and the communication was smooth. Thanks Antonio!

This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

I returned "home" to Durham as part of my sabbatical from my work in Australia. I was looking for a place close to the city, but also quiet and peaceful too. Chris' place was exactly what I was looking for. If you are lucky enough to experience the beautiful spring weather, as I did, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace watching, the ducks, rowing boats and life in general sail by. It is simply picture perfect! The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could ever want! The beds are clean and comfortable and I slept better than I have in any other space that is not home! I would highly recommend and hope to back soon. If you are considering Chris' place - look no further. Just do it. You will not regret it!

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

Stayed a couple of night and wished we could have stayed longer. Bob was really helpful and the place was beautiful and clean. We will be coming back

We decided spontaneously to have weekend away and Dexter was really accommodating as we literally booked it, threw things in the car and left. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready for us and even changed his own plans to do this. The house was perfect for us and our dogs. It was literally a stones throw to the beach (you could even see it from the main bedroom window) We had a wonderful, restful weekend and the dogs are tired out from beach fun and lovely walks.
