Susan and Steve are communicative and generous hosts. Susan and Steve's "Shalom at the Lake" is exactly as the name describes - peaceful with a beautiful view a lake. We had a group of 6 women for a writing retreat. We had ample and comfortable space for gathering together and for solo time. In addition, we enjoyed nearby parks and cafe's that were all within a 10-20 minute drive from the house.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this breathtaking island getaway, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment the boat picked us up, we were captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded us. The property itself is a hidden gem, nestled on a bluff overlooking the ocean where the sunset leads right through the back doors. The hosts spared no expense in creating a luxurious oasis that seamlessly blends with the environment. The living spaces were thoughtfully furnished for both comfort and style with music that follows you throughout the house from the central sound station. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and a sunrise over the ocean was a dream come true. If you're looking for an unforgettable escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this Airbnb is a true gem. We left feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem. The home has been meticulously and beautifully redone. It's clean and modern but welcoming. The kitchen appliances are super high end and the coffee machine was well appreciated. Plenty of parking at the end of a private street. Two yard areas - one with trees and forest feel and one grassy area. The home was very clean with many thoughtful touches to welcome our stay - cold beverages, light snacks, breakfast items, etc. It made it very nice to arrive, unpack and settle in. The bed linens are high end and cozy and everything you need is available. Short 5 min drive down the hill to the walkable downtown area. I hope to have the chance to stay here again - it's a great location with lots of space and helpful host. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Our stay at Terry’s beautiful home was amazing from the start. In addition to being a beautiful, well kept and stunning property, it exuded a charm and calmness that we were looking for. The garden was a visual delight! All details that make a stay comfortable were looked after thoughtfully. We will definitely be back!!

We had such an AMAZING stay at LoveShine! I was traveling for work to attend the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend. My husband and our thirteen year old son also accompanied me. We had plenty of room for work and play and the view of the water was just gorgeous and so relaxing. The house is even more beautiful in person. Debi has added many thoughtful touches and as other reviewers mention, she’s hands down one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. She’s incredibly attentive—the premade breakfast is so thoughtful and was really appreciative as we were a bit exhausted when we got in. However, as attentive as she is, she also gives you plenty of space. The home’s location achieves a similar balance. You can easily feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life at LoveShine, yet you can also access town relatively quickly. It’s a great jumping off point for hiking, water sports, fishing, and dining. If it’s still available while you’re searching—book it!

Everything was so clean! Ariel thought of so many little touches that made our stay feel more welcoming. Having the chickens in the backyard was one of the coolest parts. They are so friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's place. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully appointed with everything from snacks to spare toothpaste. The view of Mount Baker is perfectly framed from the picture window and the grounds and neighborhood are beautifully landscaped. The apartment itself is quiet and private and all appointments are high quality and in great condition. Lisa is very friendly and helpful with information about the surrounding area and activities.

What a beautiful and peaceful retreat! The backyard garden is absolutely breathtaking, and there is a beautiful view of the bay. The furniture, bed, pillows, and linens were all very comfortable. It was nice to have everything we needed in the kitchenette. We also, really liked the heated tile flooring! Everything was just as pictured and described, and it felt very clean. We had a very quiet, peaceful stay!

Beautiful location with lovely gardens, comfy bed, and a kitchen with everything necessary for making breakfast. Cherie is a friendly host, and her dining and imbibing recommendations were all spot-on, too!

This place is special. The rooms are large and meticulously clean, set in a backdrop of nature with views of the water. The host Rita is a great communicator and goes out of her way to make guests feel special. Her breakfasts - omg, to die for, prepared with vegetables and ingredients grown the farm.

After reading all the other reviews before booking, the stay was exactly what we expected. A quaint and quiet place with a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. Robin delivered tasty baked treats every morning and the wine that was readily available when we arrived for tasting was a nice touch. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jake & Lynda's. They were very responsive from the beginning and were flexible as we figured out our arrival plans. The space was very clean and well-kept, with beautiful sunset views over the water.

There is almost no describing exactly how special this place is. Truly one-of-a-kind. Michele and Doug win the best-innkeepers-in-the-world award. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and to facilitate our experience of the magic that is Lopez.

The room was on the ground floor and easily accessible. The bathroom was just down the hall. John was warm and friendly and eager to share some of his life stories. His house is in easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in La Conner, as well as the boardwalk that is along the Swinomish Channel. John gave me a call on my cell to let me know that I had left my Crocs. We weren't fat from his house so we doubled back to pick them up.
