McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Located just 60 miles north of Olympia on the on the scenic Hood Canal, Weather-N-Heights resort was lovingly built and enjoyed by my parents for many years. Its charming living room has a large fireplace, and breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Hood Canal. There are also great views of the water from the kitchen, dining area and bedrooms. The kitchen is outfitted with everything a gourmet cook will need. The large deck is great place to watch the sunset after a busy day of swimming or fishing.

The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame.
