Holiday rentals with a kayak in Whidbey Island

The home is quite nice and well equipped for a large group. We really had no complaints at all. Our team loved. The beach. I enjoyed the large kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. Thanks so much!!

Lily’s place is a sweet nature oasis hidden away in the middle of a busy suburban city. We enjoyed squirrels, crows, eagles, ducks and even a Blue Heron who was chillin on her dock. The front room wall (facing the lake) is all windows so clean you could walk through them if you didn’t know they were there. We had everything we could have needed and knew we could chat with Lily anytime with questions. We are hoping to come back and enjoy the deck more next time (it rained during our visit.) Beautiful lake view home - spacious kitchen with sliding door right on to deck that overlooks the lake. Hot tub on deck was wonderful to relax in and enjoy the view and birdsong. Julia was responsive to our questions and her place is welcoming and comfortable. My service animal was welcome and this place allows 2 dogs so that is another plus. Entire downstairs has 2 couches, bed and a fireplace so our entire party had their own space as well as a place to gather in kitchen and living room on main floor. Highly recommend!

Well furnished house in a beautiful setting. Access to the dock and lake makes this a great vacation choice. Communication with owner was great. Owner is very respectful of guest privacy.

This space is so well designed for a family or group get together. The Pokémon kids room was my favorite. Super accommodating for dogs with gates and fenced back yard with gravel area for easy clean up. Perfect umbrellas on the deck and the greenbelt on the side of the house was a magical bird oasis. Host was amazing. Wonderful memories made here.

Rami’s place is truly unique. Decatur island is a place out of time, no cars to speak of, peaceful and magical. Rami’s house is on an exceptional piece of land in this amazing place. We walked on the beautiful beach, looked out over the water and were even treated to one evening of spectacular Mount Baker revealed in the alpine glow. The house is very comfortable, comfy beds, even has very good internet so we could watch movies. The 9 hole golf course and library, a volunteer effort, that is a short walk from the house is a must visit.

The whole family was impressed with the location. It was simply beautiful, with the ocean only a few steps away from the back door. We saw eagles almost every day while we relaxed on the patio, and being from the midwest we all got a kick from observing the tide come in and out. It was also a great location as a home base to drive around and see the sights. The house is about an hour north of Seattle, an easy drive. We also took a day trip to Vancouver, which was one of the nicest cities we've ever visited. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need. Even the mattress was a pleasant surprise, my bad back never bothered me, which is unusual when I travel. Highlights included a wonderful whale watching excursion we took from a town called Anacortes, about 40 mins north of the house. We followed a pod of Orcas for about an hour and a half and had a blast. I also recommend the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor museum in Everett. It has an amazing collection.

A little piece of heaven on the lake, this place feels as if it’s out of a fairy tale! I felt right at home from the moment I walked in and the theme of the place makes everything feel so cozy. The host is so responsive and communicative. I hope to come back soon!! You don’t wanna miss out on a place like this!

The cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and has a gorgeous view! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, visiting the beaches and watching sunsets from the covered porch. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept great! Husband especially loved the turntable and awesome record collection! A word of caution if you have any mobility issues- there are several steps up to the front door from where you park on the street. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cottage with an amazing view of the water. It's the perfect size for two. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the variety of sitting space inside and on the deck. Best beach access off all the neighboring beach houses. Peggy is super friendly, really making us feel at home. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again. ⭐️5

Beautiful views, great location, and a very clean house with a well-equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was provided which made it a very comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Would love to stay here again!

My fiancé and I wanted to get away for the weekend and we loved this place. It was very clean, had a large fenced yard for the dogs to run around in, and we were even given fresh eggs from their chickens. We would definitely rebook in the future!

Really cute shorefront home with big kitchen equipped with what you need which was great because we like to eat in. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub is great to soak in while watching the beautiful sunset.

the beach house was wonderful! the area and home is beautiful, there were friendly people all around. we loved the decor and the kitchen was stocked with so much more than was listed and the hosts even offered us some firewood! we greatly appreciated staying here and may come back one day!

My husband and I stayed for a long anniversary weekend and absolutely loved the cabin! Location was absolutely lovely, with the waterfront just a short walk around the corner- the sunsets were fantastic. The backyard is quiet and secluded, with beautiful foliage and hummingbirds. The house was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

What a sweet home. We loved our stay. Some of us did shower at friends because of the water smell, mentioned in other reviews. It’s the whole neighborhood so not particular to this house. We loved the deck and walking down to the water! The neighborhood is very quiet and the beds and linens were very comfortable. Overall loved it.

We had such an amazing, relaxing, and peaceful stay at this little cabin on the lake. Wayne and family were all wonderful and the pups made us feel right at home. If you like lake views out everywindow, cozy fires, sitting in the hot tub as you watch the sun set, and loving on some pups then this the spot for you. It's small. It's comfortable. It's got everything you need and the hosts are lovely. We loved this spot so much we just booked our next visit. See you guys soon!

The location is peaceful and quiet, with the nearest neighbor at a comfortable distance, offering plenty of privacy. One of the highlights was spotting lots of seals lounging close to the cottage—a delightful and unique experience. The space is well-maintained, cozy, and perfect for creating lasting memories. Whether you're relaxing indoors or exploring the beautiful surroundings, this place offers a perfect escape. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Great cozy cottage close to the private beach. Place was well equipped. Loved desk with the fire pit and heater. Host was very responsive and accommodating our early check in. We had wonderful stay It definitely on our future list.

My friend and I stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect! The historic cabin is cozy, cute, and equipped with everything you need for a peaceful getaway. When we weren’t at the cabin relaxing we enjoyed being able to exploring downtown Port Townsend. Darrell and Carlene made us feel welcome and excited to share their beautiful cabin. I highly recommend staying here and plan to be back!

We loved our time at Jimmy’s. We were looking for a place to unplug and relax for a couple of days and couldn’t have asked for anything better. The house was beautiful and right on the lake- what more could you ask for?! We spent most of the time on the dock fishing and caught a lot of trout. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the house is stocked with games and puzzles. Wish our stay didn’t have to end. Highly recommend 🫶

Great location with easy access to the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with items and it felt like Joni spent some good time there. Neighbors were very friendly. I would like to return. The property was super clean and Joni was very responsive and friendly host.

Our stay at Discovery Bay Lookout was an absolute dream—one of our favorite Airbnbs to date, and we travel often! The location is perfect if you’re looking to reconnect with nature. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet was just a short drive to groceries and restaurants. The cabin is magical—beautifully designed, warm, and thoughtfully organized. We loved cooking in the kitchen, reading in cozy nooks, and soaking in the hot tub and sauna while taking in the views. We traveled with two small kids, and Virginia went above and beyond by providing a high chair, toddler dishes, and so many thoughtful touches throughout. Her hospitality truly set this stay apart. We left feeling inspired and dreaming of owning a place like this one day. Until then, we hope to return. Don’t hesitate to book—just be sure to take great care of this special place so others can enjoy it too.

A spectacular location, quiet, private, thoughtfully stocked with kid friendly toys and equipment such as cribs and a high chair. A few spot cleaning for us, and the big outside table was weather worn and not useable, but we’d come again! Just beautiful - very special
