Holiday rentals in Wheeling

Krista went above and beyond to accommodate our travel dates which involved making exceptions. She lined up last minute weekend cleaning and had new TVs installed for our stay. She responds promptly. The photos accurately feature the property. This is a spacious 3 story unit. The location is ideally situated for easy access to main routes and central to the Panhandle region. Krista is willing to do whatever necessary to ensure that Wheeling delivers. If we return to the WV/PA/OH area we will book with Krista again!

Beautiful property! Perfect for my niece’s wedding accommodations, including rehearsal dinner. Peaceful and yet close enough to shopping and restaurants, as well as the other venues for the weekend. Lloyd was friendly and helpful when we couldn’t get a light to work. He quickly replaced the batteries in the remote and it worked. Would absolutely recommend it and stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Lauren went above and beyond as a host to her very comfy cabin. We loved the hand made goat soap, the farm fresh eggs were delicious, and the pancake mix and syrup was a pleasant surprise. I brought my mom and daughter for a special Mother’s Day weekend retreat and the cabin did not disappoint. This was my mom’s first experience in an air bnb, she was in awe. Lauren put a lot of thought into the design and decor. She even let my daughter bottle feed her baby goat. We had an amazing weekend and I would go back in a heartbeat. Everything was great. Ken's Airbnb offered a very pleasant one-night stay during our cross-country road trip. The first-floor unit is located in an 1880s building in downtown Wheeling, WV, on a steep street leading down towards the Ohio River. There is easy access to I-70 and convenient parking available next to the building. The Airbnb is within walking distance of restaurants and attractions on Main Street, including the historic Wheeling Suspension Bridge. The unit was nicely decorated and quite spacious, with a large bedroom and an extremely comfortable bed. We did not have a chance to meet Ken. However, he communicated with us before check-in and check-out and gave us very detailed instructions. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Ken's Airbnb to anyone visiting the area.

Cozy Cottage is an utterly unique farmhouse architecturally beautifully designed and set on a unique Ohio cattle farm. The family in combination with our host Liz's sophisticated eye created magic. Hand made local antique ceramics, linens, a stocked breakfast supply on request in the smeg fridge, beautiful bedding plus modern and antique comfortable furniture perfectly and effortlessly make this a truly a special Airbnb. The cottage is a quick drive to Wheeling which has a great restaurant, Good Mansions Wines was our go to for gourmet food plus the cottage is a 20min drive to Dysart Woods a first growth Appalachian forest: this is my personal favourite area. We saw many birds around our cottage, a local groundhog, wild deer, hawks and fed the nearby delightful horses carrots !. Nearby you can walk to the lake and see the beavers. I highly recommend staying at the Cozy Cottage I had a wonderful work trip here. Thank you Liz & family I'd adore to return !

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoy staying here… we absolutely love the decor and theme of the place and everything we need is provided… This was our family’s third time staying at this Airbnb because we love it so much and the accommodations are great… This was the first time we got to enjoy the outdoor space and we really liked having the gas fire pit that we could sit around and hang out while the kids played cornhole in the backyard… can’t wait to book again in the future and thank you so much for being so accommodating!

Chyanne's cozy cabin provided the perfect location and ambiance for our group's retreat, enabling us to take full advantage of all Ogelbay had to offer. Chyanne was helpful, friendly and responsive - we will return!

Nice place, also big yard. Which was nice if you have small children, like I do. Also, very responsible of whether there was any any issues in the apartment.. Both Mike and his wife, Jennifer are super helpful & friendly, will make your stay a comfortable one. We will definitely stay here again in future!
