Cannot recommend this gorgeous Bach enough. It was doggy paradise, beautifully presented and so, so clean. The attention to detail was fantastic. Parking and we had a Motorhome and four other cars- plenty of space for all. Owen is such a great host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

The home was beautiful. Perfect spot next to the beach and well equipped for our little ones, especially when they just wanted to pop down to the beach. Our hosts were very responsive and gave very clear instructions. Bonus was the extra linen and sheets available. Was the perfect little holiday away!

Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

Great little spot to relax and unwind. Easy access to Kaiwaka, Mangawhai and Waipu, but also a really comfortable place to just hang out in if you don't want to go out. Mike and Leonie are really lovely, very responsive and helpful, including in the middle of a power cut due to storms!

We’ve stayed at many Mangawhai properties and this is a new favourite. Perfect location between estuary and surf beach. Mama and baby slept in the main house and couple with fur child in the self-contained sleep out. Superking bed was a treat, although the mattress too soft for us. The fire place is cosy and the birdsong so tranquil. House is elevated and private but neighbours are still close. A group nearby partied at night but were quiet by 10pm. Leeanne was a responsive, friendly and helpful host. The house has a homely and welcoming vibe . We will stay again!

A great spot for the night. Had everything we needed

Amazing location with beautiful views. The deck and spa are perfect for outdoor living overlooking gorgeous water scenery. The spa is clean and large and hot. Amazing relaxation and we all enjoyed it throughout our stay. The house is large and well set up, plenty of space with two lounges and plenty of bedrooms and beds. There was also Molenberg bread, fruit, eggs, yoghurt, cereal, milk, coffee, butter, peanut butter and jam all available for breakfast. The kitchen is well stocked and the master bed was pretty comfy and roomy. It’s the country and there are chickens and ducks there who are really cool. They were excited to see me in the morning and made a lot of noise to get their breakfast haha.

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

Even better than the pictures. My family and I had the BEST time at this property. What a beautiful location and great host. Excellent experience.

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

The house was immaculate. It was clean, lots of photos of their family, well maintained, and the host was very nice. Because we booked uring easter, there were little easter treats that we found the next day. Their cat Henry is the most friendliest cat we've ever seen and he's gorgeous too. They've got a beautiful house and it's very well maintained. Host was super considerate and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive. We will definitely be visiting again! Perfect family getaway :) 10/10 all round!

Joan and Adrian were perfect hosts. Super friendly friendly and helpful when we arrived. They gave us lots of helpful recommendations for local spots. They had even included thoughtful little extras for us and my dog Bowie. The guesthouse was very comfortable and tranquil. Great location too. We would definitely stay again.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

Beautiful place to stay, we had the most relaxing time away and loved Mangawhai. Such a cute and cozy cabin, such a neat idea for an airbnb. Highly recommend!!

What can I say beautiful home in a n idyllic place, the amenities at Jillian’s were great, the games room catered for the kids well . Walking distance to beach and cafe was a bonus. Would highly recommend 😊

Jeremy & Andrea were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning and evening walk One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired pizza oven. It was such a fun we really enjoyed making pizzas and spending the evening outdoors

Lovely clean home with everything you could need in a huge private rural space. So convenient for visiting our family, all the facilities in Parua Bay and Whangarei Heads. Our second visit, highly recommended! :)

We stayed at Lorna's place for our trip to the Poor Knights. Absolutely perfect spot to stay and explore around Tutukaka. Well set up with everything you could need. Would definitely stay again!
