Wow - what a wonderful place! Clean, quiet, extremely will fitted out with everything that you'd need - and really comfortable. Sue was great to deal with - can't recommend highly enough!

Lucy is just getting started but saved us from Cyclone Tam and gave us a clean, dry, comfortable room for the night. The location is funky and convenient and Lucy is a friendly and caring host.

A single comment would never be enough to express our love for this stay in Whangārei! Elizabeth was the most welcoming and sweet host we've met during our trip. The private room with kitchenette and bathroom were perfectly as described and everything was clean. We looooooved the cottagecore decor, we truly felt like princesses + Elizabeth's quilting art was an amazing addition in the room! Thank you again for your kindness, we look forward to seeing you again and share another roast dinner when we come back to Whangārei :) <3

A great spot to park up with an amazing view of the coastline, the unit was clean and tidy, with a well stocked kitchen and small bathroom and bedroom, all you need for a private beach getaway.

Apartment has everything you’d need, with the added bonus of having an off street parking space and a small rooftop decking area with BBQ! Really good location for the town and supermarkets. Can be a little loud early in the mornings and late at night from the gym over the road but otherwise is perfect. Host is super friendly, easy to communicate with and responsive.

We loved the unique venue. Great decor and very well thought out as to what was needed for your stay. The traffic noise is loud from the passing cars but we had expected this due to the other reviews. But a delightful weekend away with great things to do locally.

Shirley’s place was awesome definitely worth while a visit whether it be for business or leisure. Shirley has the kitchen stocked with breakfast and snacks. I will definitely return when I’m up north next.

Pacific Rendezvous is a great place to stay on the Tutukaka coast. It's within a short distance of the marina, restaurants, other facilities, and fabulous beaches. The resort has private beaches and lots of activities, such as tennis and a playground. The staff are friendly, warm, and accommodating of guest needs.

Truly excellent stay, Ian and Sue were lovely and the apartment so comfy and clean. We can’t wait to stay there again. Definitely do not miss the sunrise and the hidden beach!

This place was beautiful in the picture, but even more beautiful in reality. We chose this place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we are very pleased. We enjoyed a three-course dinner prepared by ourselves with a breathtaking view in the background. We didn't even think about going to a restaurant, because no restaurant offers such a milieu. The nice pool and jacuzzi in the common area added even more value. Every moment was worth staying there and the price-quality ratio is perfectly balanced. The staff was very pleasant as well. Thank you very much for playing an important role in our important day!

We and our two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ian and Sue’s. The stunning view is to die for. Quick access to beach was amazing. Although a motel, it offers very good privacy. Very family and kids friendly. Ian and Sue are quick to communicate and Ian was very welcoming when we arrived. To top it, the place was squeaky clean and adequately equipped. We will definitely be back.
