Holiday rentals with a patio in Whakatāne

My 2-year-old daughter and I stayed at Denys’s beautiful unit, and it’s safe to say I will no longer be looking for any other accommodation when we visit Ohope Beach ! The unit was very clean, with everything you need inside. The bed is super comfortable and has plenty of blankets for the cooler nights. But overall my favourite part was the view ! Waking up to a gorgeous sunlight beaming in, and watching people surf amongst the waves. We loved our stay so very much, and we will be back again :)

Well exceeded expectations! Jen was amazing, helped with local recommendations and timings of the places around, clear instructions whenever we communicated an overall excellent experience. Myself and my children spent 3 days here including Christmas Day, when we arrived it was decorated Christmas theme, there were Santa sacks, small Xmas tree, fruit, lollies and even some treats for mum. Absolutely in awe with our stay and our smiles will last a long time. Thank you Maryann and Jen for everything 🌸

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

Susan was a very friendly and accommodating host. It was a lovely spotlessly clean unit. Extremely comfortable - an awesome place to stay.

This was a great spot to stay and will definitely come back next time.

Perfect little getaway for anyone wanting a great location - lots of good amenities very close by, pubs, restaurants, shops. And beautiful beach just footsteps away! Very clean and comfortable and great communications with host, would definitely recommend!

We were staying at Paul's place for almost a month. Paul and his girlfiend are very helpful and kind hosts. It was the perfect location for a longterm stay, the kitchen is very well equiped and Paul allowed us to use his deck and the barbecue. We really enjoyed the stay.

Place was a stunner. Beautifully appointed and quality appliances. Spa was amazing, the welcome gifts were next level. Reychelle was the most accomodating and friendly host I have encountered. Would highly recommend. Thanks Reychelle 🩵

We enjoyed our stay at Lesa's beautiful house. Lesa was an awesome host and the house was even better than we imagined, everything we needed was provided (even some fresh bread and milk). There are 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite), the lounge can be separated from the living area and also opens onto a nice sunny deck. the back yard opens onto a reserve/walkway which is awesome for walking/exercising the dog and also means you can walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants. The surrounding area is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place in Papamoa.

Another great stay which is perfect for our fishing trips, always warm and cosy and enough room for our large group.

This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and the waffle station was such a fun and unique touch – my friend had a blast making waffles for breakfast! The outdoor area is lovely and well set up, with a BBQ that we didn’t get the chance to use on this short trip, but we’re already planning to come back. The high fences made it feel really secure, especially great for those travelling with dogs. Gerard was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. In terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities, this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

The Terrace was incredible! The home , the views, the beds all fabulous! Felt like high rollers! A special mention to Angie, our host, super quick to respond, very easy to communicate with, we had a double booking at first home we booked, Angie had us sorted within an hour in this property, no stress felt at our end at all! Thank you! We had our grand daughter’s 6th birthday with lots of spas, dance party’s 🥳 and cake! Lots of amazing memories made! Thanks for sharing this incredible spot!

"Aisling was an absolutely wonderful host! Her communication was awesome, even reaching out to let us know about a cold snap during the week of our booking to let us know about electric blankets, the heat pump, and extra heaters. The house itself was perfect, and check-in was incredibly easy and great!"

This place looks stunning in the photos, but they still don’t do this place justice. Absolutely stunning Lake House. Amazing host, always helpful and quick to respond, massive rooms, the comfiest beds, amazing views, every appliance and ammenities you can think of. Amazing baths, perfect water pressure in the showers. The extras like pool table, BBQ etc are fantastic, extremely clean house. Great location, super easy to find, the cafe and beer garden 1 min down the road are fantastic. Not a single bad thing to say about our stay here. Absolutely beautiful with views to match. Would recommend this place to everyone and will 100% be back again. Cannot express how amazing this getaway spot is. The house is so big this would also be absolutely fine for bigger groups of people. 15/10 in my opinion. So much to see and do in the area. Great recommendations from the host.
