House holiday rentals in Whakatāne

I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. The house is lovely and well equipped. The back deck and pool area is amazing. Very secluded. The hosts were also very helpful at returning a couple of items left behind. Top accommodation.

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! We had a fantastic stay in Adrienne’s place whilst visiting family living close by. We enjoyed the family orientated spaces and the kids loved the pool and table tennis table. The kitchen allowed us to cook and dine altogether which was a really lovely thing to be able to do with our extended family and we enjoyed movies and boardgames in the evening afterwards. It’s a fab house and well worth the money🙌 Adrienne has all bases covered when it comes to kitchen equipment, utensils, consumables, towels, blankets etc. it really was a home away from home for us our only regret was that we couldn’t have booked it for longer. When we return we will definitely hoping we can book here again 🙏Many thanks to Adrienne again for sharing this special family space with us🙌

Danny's place is extremely high quality. It was warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Highly recommended.

Spacious, clean, tidy, warm, functional kitchen and excellent location. Would suit those with mobility issues or wheelchair use. Walking distance to supermarket, shops and garage. Nice walk to town and riverside reserves. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and therefore easy to navigate around Whakatane. Lovely warm vibe. Excellent choice for cooking your own meals. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

A nice quiet rural dwelling. Comfortable large living area with two bathrooms. Out door BBQ and seating was a bonus. We were a group of 6 adults who used the dwelling as a base for a 5 day golf trip in the Bay of Plenty. Lovely modern kitchen with large 8 seater dining table. Very peaceful location. Handy to Matata and Whakatane. Neryda was always available to be contacted by phone if we needrd anything. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Amazing property with beautiful views, peaceful neighbourhood away from the busy life. Carolyn is an amazing host — kind, friendly, very helpful with whatever you need and quick to respond, always checking in. I unfortunately had an incident during my stay and Carolyn was very understanding and helpful, I can't thank her enough for not only her hospitality, but just being an overall great person.

We found this location extremely handy for project managers to stay at. I've had requests that they're wanting to use this for future trips. Thank you so much Liana for being so accommodating and helpful. The boys have certainly enjoyed their stay with you.

Don’t hesitate to book Donna’s place!! We booked a long weekend away to unplug and relax, while also wanting to explore the local area, and it served everything we were looking for on our trip and more. Donna’s place is secluded, peaceful, has stunning views, and was incredibly comfortable. It was still close enough (approx 20min drive) to beautiful beaches and restaurants if you’re looking to go out and about too. The reviews that say that photos can’t do the place justice were spot on. The house was spacious and luxurious with great amenities. Donna was a wonderful host, she was very helpful and left great recommendations on what to do nearby. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

What a beautiful place to stay! I have stayed in a lot of places in Pukehina but this place was my favourite by far, the house was absolutely stunning and so clean. The thought that has gone into the house is amazing. Merilyn is a wonderful host she was kind, friendly and responsive. We just absolutely loved this place thank you again so much for having us
