Family-friendly holiday rentals in Westmoreland County

We sayed at Kellee's place for a short Easter weekend get away for us and 3 teenage kids. Communication with the host was great. She responded to any questions we had quickly. Lots of space in the house. Each of the rooms was comfortable with lots of natural light. We also brought our 2 dogs, which was awesome. Hot tub worked well, pool wasn't open for the season yet, still chilly out. Great location near Seven Springs, Falling Water, Roaring Spring State Park and the Flight 93 Memorial. We chose this house as much for where it was as what it was. Yes the neighbors have lots of rough looking 4x4s in the yard. Seems like offroading is their hobby, not a big deal. I honestly don't think I heard anything from them but once all weekend. Maybe a privacy fence or some landscaping would help, but again, there was no real issue. Kitchen was functional. We made Easter ham and sides with no problem.

Great location for getting to 7 Springs and Hidden Valley. My wife and I took our daughter and her BF away for a nice get aways over the holidays. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas and the hot tub was great to sit in at night. Overall, this property is great and the owners were very responsive. We will be back. Brett and Stefany

Nice place, bunk bed room is great. It's across the street and up a hill from the Continental slope - like a 1-minute walk to the slope. Has everything you need. Solid spot.

Fantastic cozy place to stay. Perfect for the getaway we all needed. Comfortable and very cute decorations.

We utilized this property as a gathering spot to visit with friends and to simply relax around the fire. There was adequate seating inside the house and out on the back deck. We had a great visit and enjoyed the house. It is in an extremely convenient location and is very close to the 7springs resort. Would rent again

Always a joy to stay here (which we try to do every time we come to town). The house is comfortable, well-furnished, and always spotlessly clean. And it’s a real home, not a soulless, cookie-cutter Airbnb rental. Plus, Laura is a delightful host, super friendly and very responsive. Don’t hesitate.

Beautiful house. Would be a great ski in ski out place. We were in the neighborhood for a party in May. Would think about coming back during ski season.

Enjoyed our stay at Janet’s place while skiing at Seven Springs. Beautiful area and property. Lots of snow while we were there and she had the driveway plowed for us as well. Thanks for the accommodations for our family

Huddleston was a great host. Easy to communicate with and very responsive. The room was clean and met my expectations. The room/Inn was unique and fit our needs. A highlight was the lovely walk to the Green Gables Restaurant for the included breakfast, which was delicious. I would note that there is no air conditioning, but there were a couple of fans available in the room. Also, if you arrive late, there are not a lot of dining options available, so plan accordingly. A unique stay that I recommend to visitors to the area!

Staying in the tiny house was an amazing experience and something we will remember our whole lives. The property was wonderful and we cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you like animals and birdwatching.

The cabin may look small in pictures but their use of space and design works perfect. It all felt very comfortable and cozy. The place was in immaculate condition. We had the cabin far right tucked away. Didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but everything was there if needed. If you’re looking for what feels like a hunting lodge getaway this is the place. The owners really worked with us on multiple things and were very responsive. I would and have thought about staying again and recommended it to a few others. You’ll love it there and the owners. No complaints.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is both rustic and modern, with unique touches and a cozy feel. It had everything we needed and was close to the ski slopes. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. They reached out proactively and quickly responded to messages. We would definitely stay there again.

This is hands down my favorite place to stay when visiting the area. The setting is beautiful - there are hummingbirds, groundhogs, deer, and everything in between. The space is always clean and everything works perfectly - great water pressure in the shower! Anthony is a great host and is available with anything you need yet it still feels perfectly private. I highly recommend it!

Had a wonderful stay. House is clean, comfortable, well furnished and stocked with just about everything needed for our stay. Kitchen is well supplied with pantry basics, spices, cookware, utensils. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom well stocked, first aid items, etc. It’s a row house and on a somewhat busy commuter street but very quiet inside. We have family in the area and will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

Our family came together for our annual Christmas weekend get together at Thomas' home. Our children live in Philadelphia and Ohio and we are in Pittsburgh. Everyone LOVED this home and we had the best weekend. The home was decorated for Christmas WITH a Christmas tree! Made it nice for the young ones to open presents under! There are so many amenities here. The multiple living areas were amazing, especially with 6 grandchildren all under the age of 6! Our children enjoyed themselves so much that they have requested to come back here again next year! We highly recommend Thomas' home.

Nice place to stay during a ski trip.

Charles was a great host! We actually got to meet before check out and he was prompt to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had a nice time. The location could not have been more perfect, and the shuttle to the slopes helped us out a lot. The house was beautiful and updated, just enough wood for a couple warm fires. We really recommend staying there as I know we will be back soon :)

Russell was always responsive and very helpful. The place was clean and as described and shown in the pictures. We visited for skiing and getting to the slopes was an easy and convenient walk. We had a great stay!
