Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Westmoreland County

My visit to the area was not under the best circumstances however, both the host and house were amazing. Very homie, comfortable and very serene. Tons of natural light and able to view the beautiful views of downtown. I felt completely at home. Anything anyone would need was available. Super clean and welcoming. The hosts responsiveness to any questions I had was lightning fast and very accommodating.

Darlington Cottage was the perfect home base for our weekend visiting friends in Ligonier! The location was peaceful while being close enough to town for groceries/exploring. The cottage felt very spacious, and came with everything we needed to feel right at home. We weren’t able to use to outdoor space much because of rain, but our dog loved sniffing and romping around the yard! We plan to be back next time we’re in the area.

I’ve stayed at Holly Haven, at least four or five times, and it never disappoints. What I love the most?? The neighborhood. Great neighbors. Great dogs. Everyone always waves hello. Super peaceful, and yet, just a quick drive to downtown Philly St. Inside?? Big cozy beds. Two roomy bathrooms. I just always feel at home, as soon as we turn into the neighborhood, and at the end of street, up the driveway, all stresses melt away. Thank you, Chris & Stephanie!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Tree Lodge! We were never sitting around looking for things to do because there were so many activities available! The kids and adults all enjoyed kayaking, playing games, sitting around the fire pit, searching for salamanders, fishing, and relaxing. The space was absolutely perfect for our large family. We never felt overcrowded and loved spending time together! Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom and Christen’s charming cottage in Laughlintown. It’s clear that they put so much love into the details, from the whimsical decor to the amenities. Tom was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The kitchen had everything we needed - a big help when traveling with dietary restrictions. The setting is so tranquil and quiet, yet super close to many fun attractions. We enjoyed visiting Idlewild, Ligonier and the Powdermill Nature Reserve.

We stayed here for a week while visiting family and Pamela and her son Zach were great !! The home is beautiful and has modern but rustic charm . We will definitely be renting this home again for future visits .

Tica’s place was spotless! The photos don’t do it justice — it’s even better in person. Very cozy, clean, and perfect for our work trip to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, the rain didn’t allow us to enjoy the fire pit, but the house itself was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped; even though there wasn’t a drip coffee machine initially, Tica went out of her way to get one for us — which was outstanding and very much appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy, quiet, and comfortable stay!

Beautiful place in a great area host very attentive and responsive only issue we had were lack of bath towels only 2 we had more than 2 ppl I messaged her and she had them delivered within an hour after she received the message and refunded me a portion of our first nights stay. We all really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when we are in the Pittsburgh area

this an amazing stay, i had only messaged her 30 minutes before I booked the place, working third shift this is a huge help and I appreciate the ability to check in super early. not to mention the blackout curtains are a life changer sleeping during the day, all in all a 5 star place to stay at a good price

The place was great! My daughter and I came to Pittsburgh for a concert at the Steelers Stadium. It was less than 25 minutes from the stadium. The only thing that kind of got me was nothing Shadina could control. That is the 1st morning my car smelled like weed. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Shadina!

The place was amazing private and easy to get to. Location was close to everything we needed to get to within minutes, Will definitely come back soon.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was exactly the peaceful and relaxing getaway we were looking for. The suite is one of 4 suites that share the outdoor deck and seating. We wanted to enjoy the table and chairs right outside of our suite and we were able to do so exclusively almost the entire time. I can see the possibility of that not being the case if one of the other suites wanted to use that set of table and chairs at the same time. There are multiple seating areas so there are options! We loved being able to walk to Lagerheads for dinner both nights. Nancy was very responsive and proactive as she came to check and make sure everything was OK as we were enjoying the deck. I also enjoyed learning about the history of the space. A wonderful stay and definitely hope to come back again!! (I think 1 review complained about not having breakfast options nearby - just plan ahead! We brought bagels and muffins and milk. There is a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker available!)

Mark and Evan are great hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The place was great. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house was clean and exactly as listed. There was a full kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal. Bedrooms were as described. Beds were comfortable and well kept. Living area was well furnished and cozy. There is a nice office space where we could have worked had it been needed. It felt like home away from home. As hosts, Mark and Evan are very responsive. Check in was straight forward and simple. Mark and his mother were nearby working on the flowers surrounding the place for part of the week. We would see them on occasion and they were very friendly. They left some treats from the local bakery as well as some other goodies at check in which was a really nice gesture. Overall they were exactly what you would hope for in a host. We wouldn't hesitate to book here if we were to come back. Everything was great. Thanks!

We immensely enjoyed out stay at Wendy's condo. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. It was spacious enough for our group of seven. My wife especially enjoyed the comfort of the mattress in the master bedroom. The location was great. We were there for the skiing at Hidden Valley. The condo is located with easy access to the top of the Blizzard Ski Lift, and we had a good ground cover of snow which made for ski in/out. Wendy was a super host. Very responsive to inquiries from me and other people in or group. She was even responsive afterwards when we ask for information on where she purchased the master bedroom mattress. We would definitely go back there again.
