Family-friendly holiday rentals in West Wittering

Property is in a great location, close to beach, restaurants, cafes etc. Beds were really comfortable and the lounge/dining area was a great space for our group of 7 adults to socialise. Kitchen had plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. Had a lovely meal out at "The Seaview" hotel. We hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Quirky chatectful home from home large place to stay with some great facilities. Like hot tub, quality air fryer and coffee maker. Comfy beds. Plenty of space for our multi generational family get away. Lovely welcome pack of treats. Description accurate re facilities..

We had an absolutely fantastic stay inside Betty. It was extremely accurately described. We felt at home straight away by the facilities onboard. The view in the morning was fantastic, being woken up by cockerel was a lovely reminder of being in the countryside. The perfect break to wind down and relax. We were lucky with the weather mostly which made it even more magical. The lights around the outside at night was a lovely touch. The bathroom was delightful, with the underfloor heating working at all times. I’m sure we will back to see Betty. Would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic place - beautifully appointed and thoughtful hospitality from Martin and Ana. Full kitchen, options for indoor or outdoor dining including outdoor heating which was lovely for leisurely evening meals. The bathroom is downstairs, which might not work for everyone but wasn’t a concern for us, and actually works really well when you’re in and out of the pool all afternoon! We will be recommending to others :)

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

We stayed here as a family for a special birthday treat. The pool was fantastic and clean, and kids loved it! House was warm and inviting. Beds were comfortable with excellent pillows! The house is a bit tired in places but doesn't affect a short stay. None of the tv's work, no signal at all so seemed strange to have 4. This was the first air bnb we have stayed in where there wasnt a few tea bags to start us off, and the first time we didnt bring any - as you can tell, only small issues. Overall, a fabulous stay - would recommend!

Anna and Eric were both so accommodating. Went beyond and above with my little one by providing him with a bouncy castle and extra toys. My doggy loved it too! Definitely would come back and recommend, amazing hosts!

Honeysuckle Cottage is on the main road through East Meon but once inside it is quiet. All the furnishing and equipment are good quality and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of storage and it has everyone needed for a relaxing weekend. As others have said the second bedroom is very small but our son and his girlfriend slept comfortably and had enough space for their clothes. The garden is secure, so perfect for our dog. It’s also a sun trap so we were able to enjoy relaxing outside even though it wasn’t particularly hot weather. There are many excellent walks on the doorstep with stunning views. We were able to eat at The George on a couple of evenings and didn’t use our cars all weekend, which was just perfect. We did not park our cars on the main road but there’re plenty of places to park in the village, including the car park.

Charming cottage in beautiful countryside. The cottage was easy to find, clean and very well equipped, with some lovely touches such as the fresh eggs (which tasted wonderful), bread and milk. There was a good sized enclosed garden which our dog could run around in which was certainly handy and was a nice peaceful spot to sit out in the evening and enjoy a drink at the picnic bench. Parking was convenient right in front of the cottage. All in all a great stay and we’d definitely return.

A very pleasant town house that manages to be both very accessible (close to main road, station, city centre, amenities) and tranquil (quiet residential road, adjacent to the canal). A lovely area too, handy for Wittering beaches and South Downs. For those who like to cycle, the infrastructure and nearby routes are excellent too.

All perfect. Had lovely 2 night stay with my doggie. Secure private garden. Spotless clean and perfect location. 2 minutes walk to beach and 10 mins drive to West Beach which has doggie/beach area and cafe. Thank you Annie for a lovely stay and providing breakfast and treats. We will certainly be back.

Our stay with Caroline & David was great. Very friendly, helpful & were always willing to help with anything. The property & gardens were amazing & safe for our dog Olive who does like to wander every nook & cranny. The bottle of bubbly, crisps, home made jams, & Olive’s doggy treats were most welcome & a nice touch. Thank you! We made the very most of our stay regarding sightseeing & it was always nice to return to our dwelling at the end of the day. Hope to return in the future.

I had a lovely short break together with my 12 year old son at Guido’s property. The property is very spacious, bright, quiet, well equipped and safe. We both slept really well and were very comfortable. The property is ideally situated for lots of activities such as walks on the beach, tennis courts, parks, Natural History Museum, the historic dockyard etc. It is very close to local shops, cafes and restaurants. The bus stop is a three minute walk away, with a very regular service providing cheap easy access to Portsmouth and the other areas of Southsea. All my dealings with Guido were 5* and he was very friendly, patient and helpful. This is the perfect spot and home to explore Southsea with children or just to enjoy a beach trip. We enjoyed a very happy few days here. Thank you Guido for having us.

Emily was so easy to communicate with and her property is just right. Sofa bed and sofa really comfy. Great main bedroom. We had a little space outside and full use of swing for my daughter. Chatty and advised us of good places to go. We will definitely back as it is fabulous- a much nicer version of home from home- and so close to great places to visit. And our dogs loved the nearby walks and Ruby!

Rosie's place was lovely. Great views of sandown and the sea, a short walk from the sea front, and very spacious for the price. The owners are very thoughtful and the apartment was very well kept and tidy when we arrived. We had a wonderful holiday and I would highly recommend rosie's place for anyone looking to spend time on the isle of wight.

Fantastic Christmas stay in beautiful Bramshott village. Olivia and Ed really helped us out when another host let us down at short notice. Cannot thank them enough for their flexibility, and for allowing our extended family to have a wonderful Christmas together. Olivia and Ed are great hosts, very quick and clear with communication, and happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home and location for large families. We easily accommodated 9 of us. Lots to do nearby, with great restaurants, pubs and local walks. Thanks again for a fabulous stay!

This is the second time I have booked this accommodation for colleagues working in the area. The accommodation is excellent providing all the home comforts required when working away from home. All communication with Katie is was excellent and if we're ever back in the area again I will definitely re book with Katie

We had a great family break at Lance's. So convenient to get to the beaches in the area and having a pool on site made the lazy days fun. Lance was very helpful and responsive when we needed him. We had everything we needed for our stay. A great staycation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Stables. The cottage was immaculately clean and well presented with a welcoming vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen table and some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The pool was amazing, so relaxing, our daughter loved it. Lots of local walks from our doorstep that our dog loved with a very friendly cafe/ shop in the next village. The online guide with a map and list of different places to eat and visit was very useful and having it on my phone meant it was easy to refer to.

Wow wow wow!!! This property definitely has the wow factor. The views, setting and location are fabulous. You could never tire of looking across the grounds, pool and the creek. The property had everything we needed and perfect for a family with children. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing worth mentioning.

We had a really lovely stay! The house was exactly as described with great instructions and information for everything. The pool was perfect for us as was the tennis court and climbing frame. The house was spotless and well-equipped. Would definitely recommend!
