It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

WMHS fans, this is the place for you! We are located just 2 blocks from the school, in a very quiet neighborhood. We are near to almost everything you need to see and do. This is an older home, with old home characteristics, but if you are willing to overlook those, you will love the charm this place offers. This place was incredible. We came in town to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Tech. It was everything that was pictured and more. Anyone coming to this part of Louisiana definitely needs to look into staying here. It was close to Ruston but still far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rolling hills. Drinking coffee overlooking the lake was a perfect way to start the day. The place had everything you needed and then some. Thanks for a wonderful place to spend with family.

Beautiful place to stay if you're in the Monroe area. This was our second time to stay here while we were in town for baseball tournaments. It's very convenient to restaurants and very peaceful staying on the bayou. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. I highly recommend staying here!
