Absolutely beautiful property; if anything the pictures cannot do justice to the panorama of the lake and surrounding hills. We were lucky with the weather and the place has everything that you need! Tim was also and hand to help out with the hot tub etc. Simply superb!

Absolutely beautiful home with lovely decor touches, light and airy. For kids there is a great feeding chair and baby bath available, the property is also secure, so nice for small kids to explore. Very close to central village with the grand hotel a blocks walk away.

We stayed for two nights but honestly wished we stayed for more, the place is stunningly beautiful, it really felt like a home away from home albeit within walking distance from the beach, quite literally a few steps over a dune. It was comfortable, modern and spacious! The area around is breathtaking and we even managed to see a few dolphins frolicking nearby! We will definitely come here again!

Adri was responsive and friendly throughout the booking process. The kids throughly enjoyed the pool and the easy access to Shark Bay. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone especially if you’re travelling with little ones!

Perfect getaway for large family group, ample space to host a big party of people in comfort. Can't beat the beautiful location, we were spoilt with beautiful weather and felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Really appreciated the late pm check out. What a fantastic stay we had! The views are spectacular, watching dolphins from the verandah, wonderful morning and afternoon beach walks. Magical in every way. House is perfect, the verandah is where we ate, chilled and did puzzles, with views of the sea. The dogs loved it and so did the people! We will definitely be back!

A wonderfully beautiful and serene home nestled in the countryside and with lovely views over the water below. It looks even better than the pictures if that were possible. The home is very well equipped and we were struck by all the thoughtful touches in terms of what was provided. The walks/trail runs around the home are just lovely with gorgeous views and lovely traditional fynbos. Very much recommended.

Thank you Harry for sharijg your slice if heaven with us. The family and pets loved the beautiful surroundings and wine tasting was a nice touch. We ended up buying 2 boxes 😆. The dams , pools are just magnificent. Great to make some awesome memories with the family and little one . Cosy cottage , well equipped and very peaceful. We will be back , thanks again

We had a lovely, tranquil stay, exactly what we wanted to get out of the hustle and bustle of Cape Town! We especially enjoyed no cellphone signal to really let go of all external stress and just live in the moment. We tried all the recommended hikes and liked the waterfall hike the best. We also enjoyed looking at all the different butterfly species around. Yvonne was very flexible and accommodating towards our later-than-usual check-in time and was very welcoming. Would stay again!

What a spectacular setting and gorgeous property! We took our children here for the long Easter weekend and it was such a treat. We did not want to leave. Phil was welcoming and available for questions or if we needed assistance. The views are amazing. The entertainment areas are perfect. We swam and braaied and really recharged. The kitchen is full equipped for regular cooking. The master bedroom is just beautiful and we loved bathing with a view, and looking up at the stars through the glass roof. We started looking at dates to return while we were still there!

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

We had an amazing stay, Trudi is such a wonderful host and person. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She has a lovely warm nature, we also met her husband. My pups as well loved the garden. It was a relaxing and beautiful weekend for sure. We will be making another booking very soon :-) Thank you Trudi

The most incredible Tankwa Karoo escape. Incredible location with views and a gorgeous river and dam. Would highly recommend.

The place is really fantastic - right in the mountains with a wonderful view. Perfect for hiking, but also to simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Definitely recommend :)

I had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The place was peaceful, quiet, and absolutely lovely—just what I needed to relax and recharge. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the tranquil atmosphere made it feel like a perfect little escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a calm and beautiful setting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

A perfect little hideaway .. Theresa had thought of everything from a hot water bottle to Lindt choccies on our pillow! A true little gem .. everything was wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our host, Christi, was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and dishwasher. It's right on a long, white sand beach which is easily accessible for lovely walks.

Wow- what an absolute gem. Had the most relaxing stay at the cottage, really enjoyed being off grid (although the shower & fridge worked perfectly), and would absolutely recommend this magical spot. We hope to be back sometime soon - whenever we need a recharge.

If you’re looking for a 5 star farm stay, then this is it! We will definitely be back. Tammy is an amazing host, the finishing touches in the house are truly wonderful and the recommendations of things to do in the area were fantastic, not to mention the beautiful walks we did in the orchards and the incredible views. Most certainly one of our most favourite Airbnb stays to date.
