Because the room is on the third floor, there are stairs-but the plus side is it is extremely quiet AND you get daily exercise 😊! I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere-to the park, the gardens, to church, for coffee or a bite. As a single woman I felt completely safe. I highly recommend JoAnn’s place!”

Check in was simple and she has signs with very easy to follow instructions in case you’re not immediately aware how to self check in. The house is very well decorated with cute vintage tins from things like sweets and biscuits. The common areas are big enough for everyone. Provided earplugs, mints, loofahs, face mask, she goes above and beyond. If you prefer to cook the upstairs kitchen has the essentials and there is a local bodega/corner store if you’re looking for snacks other than she provided. Other guests are quiet, respectful, and honestly is not an issue. Wonderful host, would like to book again in the future, thank you so much.”
