Paradise!! This home makes you feel like you’re living in paradise! The pictures capture the home but to be there live is on another level! The home was extremely clean and fit our family of 7 perfectly but could have easily added more people to the home. We cooked every day and all cooking utensils we needed were in the home. We walked to Food Lion and Duck Donuts (10-15 min) because there is a sidewalk on the main road. I would absolutely come back to this home and would HIGHLY recommend The Beach House to everyone I know who would like to visit OBX.

Amazing place to stay in OBX! Highly recommend! Beautiful home with lovely decor. Clean home and grounds. Private and so peaceful. Pool so refreshing, hot tub a great bonus. Beds are really comfortable, lots of extra pillows too. kitchen fully stocked with whatever you could need to cook or make drinks (appliances and dishware, etc.) Garage full of nice extras of bicycles, kayaks, life vests and beach fun playing in the sand for the little ones. outdoor shower to get the sand off too. Some nice restaurants, convenience stores all very close by. 15 mins to Hatteras, 40 mins to Nags Head. Connie is a wonderful host, clear instructions, very helpful and gracious. I highly recommend, we stayed for our annual family vacay, everyone loved it, house so nice. Connie is a star! We can't say enough good things about her home, just go and see for yourself!

Robert was an incredible host. I’ve never had such a gracious and kind host in my experience with Airbnb. We bought a ton of house essentials only to find that Robert already provided plenty of it. Upon our entry there was a welcome basket with a lot of info about the area. The house was stunning and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool and Jacuzzi were phenomenal as well. We truly enjoyed our time at Shenanigan Shores and would recommend booking it!

The house was amazing. Kitchen was well stocked. House was perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable. There were thoughtful details throughout the house (extra blankets, pillows, charging outlets, new beach chairs/umbrellas/beach cart). We felt right at home. The house was right next to a beach access, so it was a very short walk to the beach. Pool was pristine. Loved it all. We will definitely rent Outlasting the Blues again.

Great setup, with the pool & hot tub, bikes, cornhole boards, ping pong, etc. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware. Checkout was also very easy… not a huge list of chores like some other places. I’d definitely recommend it if your looking for a place to stay in Nags Head.

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

What a wonderful place to stay! All around such a great spot for some time at the beach! Everything is exactly as described. With the incredibly easy walk to the beach, seriously breathtaking views all around, convenient location to restaurants/shops and great communication from the host, I couldn’t recommend this place more! You won’t regret booking here. We can’t wait to come back!

took our dogs with us to the beach this year and found the perfect place to stay here. 5 min walk to the beach, good shade in the yard, nice and cool inside despite intense heat wave.

The cottage was clean, cute, and comfortable with convenient access to the beach and amazing views from the top deck. Paul and Mark were helpful and responsive and stocked the house with everything needed for a great stay. The beach was mostly empty every morning and evening and never too crowded. We highly recommend Nautical Adventures and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful location and home with any and everything you need. The location was perfect, especially for someone who always stays on the ocean side. Being able to fish from the private pier while watching the sunset was amazing. The house was not only beautifully decorated but CLEAN! The carport was also immaculately clean. Dawn was a great host keeping in communication with us from a few days before our arrival to departure. The deck light wasn’t working where the hot tub was. Dawn had someone out the next morning to replace the bulbs. My family of seven, four being young adults had an amazing experience. I would definitely return and recommend anyone to stay at Dawn’s place. Did I mention how CLEAN the home was! 10’s across the board!

We loved our stay at the Sandcastle Beach House! The owner was very kind and was always responsive into any questions that we had and he was a great help in helping us find good restaurants for our family! You don’t have to walk far to get to the ocean the views were spectacular. We could watch dolphin swimming from the dining room windows. The house was really big, lots of room for our big family. There were great stores to shop near the beach house. The hot tub was big enough to fit our family. We loved the short walkable access to the beach! Also the fact that he provided us with everything that we needed to keep it a clean environment for our family!

Great house, great location, and responsive hosts! I would pay attention to the walk through the dunes to get to the beach if you have small kids when planning your trip. The beach/dunes are wide at that part of OBX so getting to the ocean is a hot walk in the sand and can be hard with young kids. But totally worth it, just keep it in mind when planning.

Perfect in every way! We can't say enough about Beverly & their wonderful beach house! We felt right at home immediately. The house is beautiful, clean & extremely well stocked. Right on the beach & also very close to the sound also. The neighborhood is peaceful & the street is quiet. The house also has really nice decking on every level & is gated so it's very safe for the K9 kids & would be for human kids also:) The freight elevator makes bringing supplies, groceries & luggage very convenient. Beverly & Frank definitely thought of everything and are very friendly, gracious, generous & responsive hosts. We can't think of anything to make it better. We've been coming to OBX for years & this is definitely our favorite place. My husband and I and our fur babies had an amazing time & very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back next year. Look no further than Beverly's place! There can't be anything better:)

My daughters and I took a beach hopping trip up to OBX in memory of my late mother. This gorgeous house was the last house we stayed at on our journey and it was totally worth it. Location is prime, kinda tucked in a nice spot and it’s a short walk to the beach…. Just be careful with the traffic! Amenities were amazing, I only wish we had more time. Linens were fresh and everything was perfect. Such a nice place, my oldest daughter even mentioned her future house will look just like this. Beds were comfy, kitchen literally had everything in it. Loved that the host was super friendly and actually cared about our trip. When we return to ObX, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

e house is cozy yet uncluttered, with modern sensibilities including pitch perfect lighting, which is hard to find! It feels secluded and quiet and peaceful, and the view out over the dunes is stunning, which deer and other wildlife frequently trotting by. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well. The cherry on top was the amazing crow’s nest, with two windows on each wall; my husband and I slept up there bc I couldn’t get enough of the dramatic sound of the winter wind and waves. Riley was communicative and helpful. In sum, I highly recommend Riley’s home!

We loved Hygge By The Sea! It was a lovely one story home (one flight of stairs to access the house as is usual for the OBX) that fit our family perfectly. The house was spotless and so comfortable. We loved the laid back vibe and everyone felt right at home. Its location ocean front can't be beat.

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

This place is the place to be. I had a summer getaway with some of my friends and it was the perfect place to fit our group of 6. It was clean, comfy and super modern, yet it also felt as if I was in a quaint beach cottage. All the amenities were functional, specially loved the foot and full body outdoor shower for an after beach rinse. The beach was also only a few steps away from the most beautiful and open beach I have ever been to. I could say much more about this place but if I do I’ll miss it too much. 10/10 100% recommend, owners were very nice and had very clear instructions. Thank you for a wonderful week.

This was our second year staying at the Downwinder and once again it was extremely enjoyable! The oceanfront views from the deck and big windows just can't be beat. This house has a great open concept living with unobstructed views of the ocean from the entire main living space and master bedroom. The house is modern and updated, inside and out. We love the deck walkway right from the house, over the dunes and right down to the beach. The shower and foot rinsing faucet at the end of the walkway is super convenient. Absolutely perfect for our family of four! Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is pure serenity. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next vacation...you won't regret it!

We loved Avon, the beach was private, the weather was gorgeous and our location was perfect, fairly close to all restaurants, stores. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. Even going out of their way to provide us with any creature comforts, coffee pots, recommendations etc. Would definitely recommend.

Janelle and Adrian are absolutely wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful and perfect. In every way the second you walk in you feel like you are on vacation and you don’t wanna leave. We actually extended our stay because the house was so beautiful and the location of the home was so perfect that we Just needed that one more night before we were ready to say goodbye. They are so quick to respond if you have a problem with anything and they immediately fix it for you I will never use any other Airbnb again when traveling to that area.

Our stay at Nita’s home was amazing! The home was exactly as described and perfect for a quick get away to the beach. The beach was also right across the street which was great! We loved the fully functional kitchen, and the king bed was super comfortable. Also, it was a short walk to an awesome coffee shop and a few good restaurants. We would definitely recommend a stay at Nita’s home and hope to be returning to Avon soon!

I am pleased to say that my stay at the house was absolutely incredible. The house was in immaculate condition and it felt like a normal house. With a full kitchen and a laundry machine and drier it felt like a perfect vacation home to me. There were plenty of things to do around the house. I did a lot of fishing in the Avon area and the house fired my needs perfectly. The 2 hoses out side the house and the outside shower made it super easy to rinse my gear off. It wasn’t super far from a few different beach accesses. I would 100% stay at this house again. I highly recommend it if you’re thinking about traveling to the obx.
