Beachfront holiday rentals in Waves

Our family had the best time at Easy Breezy. Alex had thought of everything when it comes to a vacation home and I can't even put into words how peaceful it was. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished , napped, sun bathed on the dock and enjoyed the hot tub which was an amazing perk. We caught 6 crabs and some ocean perch. This place had everything you could want and we didn't want to leave. It was by far the best rental we have ever stayed at. Our dogs even had a blast!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

This was our second visit at Nags Head at this location. It is a 5-minute walk to the public beach access, and just minutes from the main drag. Love the location which is close to where our daughter works, and the convenience to the local restaurants and tourist traps. A great location/value for the money!

Very clean - spotless kitchen, bathrooms and beds. Lots of amenities and little extras - like trash bags, coffee, hand soap, etc. comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach. Close to Duck.

Our stay at the OBX Treehouse was an amazing getaway! The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated with a seaside vibe that instantly made us feel relaxed. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach ,so we could head out for a sunrise stroll or a quick dip in the ocean without ever needing to load up the car. The outdoor shower was a great touch after a sandy beach day, and we loved unwinding on the deck in the evenings, listening to the waves. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet still close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and other local spots. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing helpful recommendations and making sure everything was just right for our stay. We truly felt at home here and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend this OBX Tree House!

There was plenty of room for the four of us! Everything was clean and tidy. While you are still pretty close to a lot of other houses, you have views of the ocean in between, and on the stormy nights, we could hear the waves crashing on the beach. The house is also very close to an ice cream shop and The Froggy Dog restaurant, which serves an excellent dinner menu. The house also provides beach chairs, sand toys, kayaks, etc. so you don't have to bring anything but your beach towel! Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent place to stat at OBX! Everything was as described. Excellent location close to plenty of things to do. Excellent hosts all around!

This Airbnb is in a great location, right on the beach. The place was very clean and we really enjoyed the deck. Overall, a great experience.

Spent a wonderful girl’s trip in this condo and enjoyed every second. Beautiful, clean space, easy beach accesses, and walkable to my favorite restaurants. This was the perfect place to stay to introduce my friends to OBX for the first time. Would absolutely stay again!

Overall, this was a great vacation spot. Hosts were great! House was great! We had a small inconvenience with three people coming the first day to service different parts of the house, but once addressed the host’s accommodated our requests well. Location is nice!

We cannot say enough great things about our stay! Believe all of the amazing reviews— there is definitely a reason Pat and Chuck have so many! Pat was extremely welcoming and began communicating prior to our stay. She was prompt and was waiting for us when we pulled in. Chuck was just as friendly and so easy to sit and have conversations with. They welcomed you in with open arms. The place was so clean and smelled wonderful! It may not be the biggest of spaces, but it was perfect for two and Pat literally thought of EVERYTHING you could need during your stay. Forgot your toothpaste? She’s got it. Forgot your sunscreen? She’s got it. Need a beach chair or extra towel? She’s got those too! Need a snack? There’s plenty and a couple drinks also! Looking for recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc? She’s got folders with everything for you to look through. We cannot wait to visit again! Hands down the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. Thanks again Pat & Chuck!!

We had the best time! The house was beautiful, clean and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. The pool and hot tub were awesome! We enjoyed the pool table, games and puzzles on our down time. We’d love to come back again sometime.

I can't say enough positive things about Anthony or Diamond Shells. Beautiful beach front home. Do understand that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is quite sloped - this is the case for every single beachfront home due to the topography. The house was absolutely perfect, and so was Anthony. Very responsive host and answered all questions very promptly and graciously.

Great location and home for our friends with family trip! The pool and backyard was the perfect hangout and the beach was a quick walk away. Very comfortable for 3 families all with kids! Grateful our fur babies could join as well! Travis was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hygge by the Sea. The location of the house was just a walk away from shops and food. Beach front access from the house was a plus and it was already stocked with beach chairs for us to use. House itself is very comfortable and clean. Great for a family with kids. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We all felt very at home, the house is gorgeous and the beach is right there. We each had our own room and bathroom. Carrie was always quick to respond to our questions. We definitely want to go back there if possible next year and use her house again. None of us wanted to leave. We even saw dolphins from her deck, it was amazing. Thank you Carrie for everything!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful! You can hear the waves all night long and the the AC works beautifully! You do need 4 wheel drive as there home is in-between dunes and the parking situation with other Airbnbs cause for some 4 wheel drive action but it's part of the experience and we loved it all! Everyone around is extremely friendly and we were able to enjoy our pup on the beach at all times! EXTREMELY dog friendly vibe! Beware this location is about 30 minutes from more urban city areas BUT there are plenty of local markets and deli's to make your easy! Ice machine is fantastic and honestly makes up for no freezer! We will be booking yearly

This listing is an unbeatable location - literally on the beachfront. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over the ocean each day from the large sliding glass door windows in the bedroom. The morning light is awesome. We were entertained by merely sitting on the comfortable balcony watching the sea life (dolphins!) and the shore birds, the boats, the beach walkers and wind surfers. So peaceful in April. The place is well appointed, just as described in the listing, and the host is responsive. We appreciated all of the information provided by the host for restaurants and local attractions. The location is excellent for access to many food and entertainment options, but is just far enough from the "main drag" to feel private and quiet. If we should pass this way again, we will look no further for accommodations - for we have found "our place" in the Outer Banks.

I recently traveled to Janelle’s place with 10 of my friends to celebrate my college graduation, and our trip was absolutely amazing. The house itself was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Janelle and Adrian were super responsive leading up to and during our trip. They also gave us an extensive list of places to eat in the area, which led to some of the best meals we’ve ever had. We are already starting to plan our next trip down to Avon!

Beautiful, immaculate home! Very high end aesthetic, furniture, fixtures, dish-ware. The location has something to offer for all. The beach was a fairly short walk. The house came equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a buggy to tote your items. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. It’s a great house for a small group. I actually visited solo with my puppy and enjoyed having all the space.

My sister and I came for a birthday weekend getaway at the beach and this place was perfect. Beach access was very close and in early May, there were very few people. Coffee shops and other restaurants/attractions were only a few minutes down the road. Having 2 beds was great in this studio apartment. The area was safe and quiet. Would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect in every way! We can't say enough about Beverly & their wonderful beach house! We felt right at home immediately. The house is beautiful, clean & extremely well stocked. Right on the beach & also very close to the sound also. The neighborhood is peaceful & the street is quiet. The house also has really nice decking on every level & is gated so it's very safe for the K9 kids & would be for human kids also:) The freight elevator makes bringing supplies, groceries & luggage very convenient. Beverly & Frank definitely thought of everything and are very friendly, gracious, generous & responsive hosts. We can't think of anything to make it better. We've been coming to OBX for years & this is definitely our favorite place. My husband and I and our fur babies had an amazing time & very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back next year. Look no further than Beverly's place! There can't be anything better:)
