Holiday rentals with a kayak in Waterland

We had a very nice weekend at Frank's place. In good weather - if you can sit outside - this place is perfect. Amsterdam and Utrecht are easily and quickly accessible. The surroundings around the property are also very welcoming.

All in all a great accommodation, modern, beautiful ambience, quiet, the garden with the furniture, the size, the jetty and the canal just great. In addition, the accommodation is very centrally located to take beautiful bike tours, the small town for the small shopping right in front of the door, what more do you need for an extended weekend. . .

we felt very comfortable. the location is fantastic! the house is well equipped. especially was that Ingrid and Robert were so easy to reach. unfortunately, the house was quite dusty.. Ingrid also seemed very upset that the cleaning company had cleaned badly and was accommodating. we still liked it very much! especially the outdoor area and the sauna are fantastic!!!

A very special place. It is so unique that you can go there by boat. The house itself is super stylish and clean. The communication with Rogier was particularly pleasant: in other words, if you have the chance to rent it I would definitely do it: enjoy it!

We had a nice stay at Nanette's! The accommodation was clean, lovingly furnished and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped. The mattresses (we slept upstairs on the right) were also very good and we were able to sleep well in them. Nanette is a warm hostess who goes to great lengths to make you feel welcome. She also gave us many good tips for our stay. The house is quite far out. For us, the reason to rent this house. In the brasserie, which is within walking distance of a small harbor, there is a small selection of tasty dishes. A small supermarket can also be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. On some days (depending on the weather) there was a small odor problem in the bathroom from the drain pipe. We will nevertheless also consider renting this house in the future.

The accommodation completely convinced us: very clean, everything you need for a holiday week, very comfortable beds, great bathroom, appealing outdoor area. Very friendly, uncomplicated hosts, always available and with proactive tips, e.g. on the changed route. We can fully recommend Micaela and John's house.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. The house is idyllically located on an island strip and can be reached by boat. Bas introduced us to everything uncomplicated and relaxed and we had a very nice holiday in the house

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Great! Very responsive host, accommodation even more beautiful than in the photos, very clean, really great! I recommend it if you want to get away from the city for a few days!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

We had a very nice time. The house is great, you have everything you need and it was all very clean. The location is fantastic. You have a large private garden and a private jetty. Haarlem is accessible by bike and extremely beautiful. Also a very good supermarket and a nice restaurant are only 1 km away. Amsterdam and the beach can be reached by car within 20 minutes. So you can do a lot and are still very much on your own and in nature.

Garden insanely beautiful, everything in the room you need, and very new and modern. But most importantly: the hosts. If you could give a rating for hospitality and kindness, it would be a 10 out of 5!

The location of this house is amazing, right on a canal with an amazing garden. The house is located walking distance from restaurants and a grocery store. The house was clean, and spacious for a group of 7. We loved sitting on the deck, making use of the kayak and paddle board on the canal. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Arent is an amazing host, he sent all the instructions and details and made it easy to find the house, check-in, and have a great stay.

The little cottage was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed eating in front of the patio door and looking out into the garden. There are a few chickens there, which we enjoyed a lot. The two cats visited us from time to time, we liked that very much. Sara and Steven were very friendly and always answered our questions very quickly. Thank you again for that. Tienhoven is a beautiful little village, we felt very comfortable there.

It was a really nice stay, they were very nice and willing to help when we faced an inconvenience, I highly recommend!

Very nice environment, good air and everything very relaxed

The accommodation was great, as described and in the pictures. We enjoyed it very much. Only the access road was officially closed and therefore we had some problems getting to the hut at first. Nevertheless, we had a great accommodation and would come back anytime! Plus point: dogs allowed!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at Conny's place. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to boat on the canal. The very friendly host.

Janneke was without a doubt the best hostess I’ve had. Me and a classmate spent one month in Grootschermer and the place was wonderful. Will go back if possible.
