Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Waterford

Angela’s place was lovely, clean, peaceful and as described. Very spacious. Angela went above and beyond to help us and left a fully stocked kitchen. Check in was great and Angela made sure to help us out with whatever we needed. Will definitely be back.

We originally booked this listing in May of 2020, but sadly were not able to make the trip due to Covid. 5 years later we finally got to stay int he lighthouse and it was well worth the wait! It was truly a magical experience, with breathtaking views and so many special little details in the house to make it feel like home. We spent 10 days in Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip!

We had a really wonderful time, Mattie and Kate went above and beyond to accommodate our specific needs. Home made treats upon arrival were delicious. They were super helpful and very generous in providing local knowledge and information. Would be very happy to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Margo’s place! We had planned to go out but upon arrival decided to stay in. We had take away on the back deck area and then had some fun multi generational pool games. We would highly recommend Margo’s place

We where greeted by Beautiful Ann. She was warm welcoming and brought my little girls to visit with the families pet Ponies Blackie and patch. We saw the little caves too. House has a old world farmhouse. Beautifully kept in its glorly. There was complementary breakfast with all locally source food. Fresh bottled milk. The bedrooms where warm and lovely fresh cotton linen. Fluffy towels. Mattresses were of the highest quality. Garden was a beautiful cottage Garden. Spotless home. Ann and Emma 5 stars. We traveled around Ireland and stayed at 4 other locations. By far, this cottage and the host and the accommodations and everything about this place was our favorite! Noeleen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Liam's lovely house. It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated with lots of room . Everyone slept very well and it is situated in a lovely estate with easy access to Waterford and also a short drive to Passage East and lots of lovely coves along the Copper Coast. I cannot recommend this place more .

Dominic was very friendly and considerate, always there to help if needed. The apartment is in a great location and the views are amazing. There’s everything you need within a few minutes walk, great restaurants and bars if you like that sort of thing. There are also plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.

Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos anfitriões, um casal muito simpático. A casa estava impecável, muito limpa e bem decorada. O apartamento é muito perto da praia o que é excelente para quem gosta de passear à beira mar.

We had a lovely time at Caroline's place, it had everything we needed.. very cozy.. comfortable bed and a very peaceful nights sleep.. thanks Caroline!

We stayed at Scragg farm for our honeymoon and it was hands down the best thing we could have done! Not only is Andrew a wonderful host with a fountain of knowledge for everything near by (he gave amazing recommendations!) - but the cottage was also incredibly peaceful and picturesque. Not to mention how central it is; most of the places we wished to see were only an hour or so away. Haven't even been gone 24 hours and we're already talking about when we can take our next trip back!

we enjoyed our time here, it was close to the town so it was accessible to shops and pubs. the place was spotless clean and the bed was so comfortable. the best part was the labrador that always came to say hello! not that we needed it, but there’s no kitchen just incase someone is looking to make some food at home. enjoyed our stay, would love to come back!

We opted to stay out of the bustle of Dublin for the peaceful vistas of Fethard and Selina ‘s AirBnB. So glad we did. Parking by the door. Phew! Well appointed kitchen/dining looking out onto lawn and flowered garden. Ample bedroom and closet space. Hot shower. An attentive host who, although called away for family health reasons, wrote a personalised card with important info for our arrival. She joined us later. A modern, comfortable AirBnB hosted by really nice people. This is a good one.

My family had a wonderful stay at John's apartment in Dungarvan. John was an exceptional host—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. The apartment itself is beautiful, bright, and impeccably clean, with a spacious balcony offering a stunning sea view that made every morning feel special. The location is perfect—just a short walk to some of Dungarvan’s best spots. The Tannery Restaurant, run by Paul and Maire Flynn, is a must-visit for its fresh Waterford produce and mouth-watering focus on flavour. The Local bar is another gem, offering a warm ambience, live traditional music sessions, and a great selection of beers on draught. Both are only a few minutes away on foot. This apartment is ideal for anyone looking to relax by the sea while enjoying the charm and hospitality of Dungarvan. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We had a lovely month and a half at Miriam's in the heart of Dungarvan. She was such a responsive kind host — we will really miss living there! Beautiful walkable location with ample amenities inside the apartment as well as in the area. Even though you're "downtown," the apartment itself is quiet and peaceful. Finding free parking nearby was never a problem. Never had any issues with the Internet either. It was a fantastic stay.

2nd time staying at Elaine's en route to/from ferry while bikepacking. The suite is spacious, bright and very nicely furnished in a peaceful location. Elaine leaves a generous array of tasty breakfast options which is particularly appreciated when leaving early to make transport connections. Highly recommended and I will be returning.

wow to say the least this spot was fantastic , beautifully decorated and the vibes were super cozy. Maeve herself was awesome and super helpful . Great eateries and history just a few minutes walk from the condo . Plenty of space inside too. Shower is massive although water pressure was a bit iffy . I would not hesitate to stay here again .. (you must try Foodworks downstairs while you’re here!)

This airbnb was beyond our expectations. From the drive in seeing all the beautiful manicured lawns to the home itself nestled on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the river and pastures. Alan welcomed us with a warm smile and answers to all of our questions. He was very responsive with communication which made the visit comfortable. The walking path along the river is a must, filled with beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Airbnb was stocked with breakfast items, snacks, and drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. Everything you could need for relaxing calm getaway with a stunning view and immaculate grounds to walk. I can't recommend this place enough, we will be back next time!

This was our second stay in the apartment, and probably not the last. The apartment is very conveniently located and has a great view of the hatbour. Wexford is small so everything is pretty much walkable from the apartment. Many shops. restaurants and grocery stores are nearby, as well as the bus and train station. The host was always helpful, friendly and easy to contact.

Anne and Paddy were wonderful hosts and very down to earth people. Their place was absolutely immaculate and very relaxing. On arrival we were spoilt with a basket of treats and milk, cheese, and orange juice in the fridge. We will definitely be back, maybe in September. 🙂
