Family-friendly holiday rentals in Waterford

A great stay. The house was really spacious and very well decorated. There was lots of lovely touches such as some food in the fridge. The house was sparkling clean and Damien and Emma were great hosts. They responded to messages quickly and were very helpful! I’d highly recommend a stay here!

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

A really great house for a family holiday, super private and the garden was a massive bonus. Lots of space in the living spaces and bedrooms. Great location for beaches etc

We had a fantastic couple of nights staying at Paul and Karen's place. Everything was absolutely perfect from the outdoor hot tub, to the fantastic Tapas restaurant and cosy bar. Paul and Karen were excellent to communicate with before and during our stay ensuring the hot tub was ready when we wanted it etc. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2 nights in Caroline's place. The surroundings were idyllic, the place itself was clean and tidy and its one of the most comfortable bed we've slept in! The location is in the beautiful countryside and only 5 mins from Thomastown by car - Caroline arranged a taxi for us to the train station one on day so that we could go to Kilkenny for the day, which is only 15 mins by train. Caroline herself was super responsive and so friendly, she had the hot tub heated and ready for us on both evenings which was above and beyond! Arthur was part of the welcoming committee and a bundle of fun! Would 100% recommend!

A beautiful home in a wonderful place. So quiet and peaceful, the only sounds are the sheep and cows in the distance. Close to the beach and a perfect little town. The house had everything we needed and the surrounding area is the definition of a place to relax - with maybe the exception of the narrow roads in the area and a novice LH driver..:)

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

Keith gave us lots of recommendation before we had even landed in Ireland, places we would not have visited had it not been for that… they were beautiful. Very friendly, very responsive, loved our visit… thank you so much for helping us make memories that will last a lifetime

We had a great family stay at Sheep Cottage. This truely is a picturesque cottage in the woods, with the choice of all mod cons if wanted. The blend of old and new gives a feeling of comfort in a rustic setting. Clean, spacious near everything yet a cosy off grid feel. Here you can be right in the centre of Ireland's woodlands, fields, and coastal areas all in one stay. Sleep soundly with only the gentle sounds of the rustling leaves. Wake up to the dawns chorus all round you. Highly recommend. Eamon is brilliant host we will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely stay, it was so relaxing and peaceful, exactly what was needed. It is possibly the quietest place I have stayed and the lack of light pollution meant we were treated to an incredible starry night, perfect for my telescope. Sanchia was a perfect host, left us alone but was there if anything was needed. The only downside of our stay was having to leave. We already planning and looking forward to our next visit.

We recently stayed at Mary’s. There was 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults and it was more than enough space for us all. It was well looked after and it had everything we needed, it was so cosy & also spotless. We live in Dublin so it was amazing having the out door space for the kids. Check in was a breeze and Mary was so friendly she gave us recommendations also. Would highly recommend it anyone which we have already done. Tramore isn’t too far away and we recommend getting the passage ferry, it was 10 euro single and 15 euro return. It was brilliant. I can’t fault a thing about Elrove, we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated having some extra space (not just one room) to ourselves. The cottage is very quiet and peaceful, although further from pubs/restaurants than we realized and very narrow, curvy lanes to get to the cottage so we made sure to be back before sunset every night. The cottage is as described and John was very friendly and even called a local restaurant to make a reservation for us for dinner.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Patrick was a friendly and welcoming host, and we loved the quirky and arty furnishings. Wonderful location with lots to do in the area. Close to Glendalough and great hiking areas.

Patricia was an excellent host. Super responsive at all times. The cottage is without doubt the best location in Kilmorequay. The views onto the beach are just spectacular. Sitting on the terrace at night just listening to the waves was amazing. The cottage was very clean. Beds very comfortable with great quality bed linen. Make sure to check out Mary Barry’s restaurant in the next village over (Complimentary bus service over and back). I can’t wait to come back. Thank You.

Fabulous spacious accommodation perfect for hanging out with family. Great outdoor space for Al fresco dining with a bar in the garden. Massive garden outside perfect for kids to play. Location is perfect just a 5 mins walk to the beach and the pub. House was very clean. Sinead was the perfect host. We hope to come back again. Highly recommend.

We loved the house. Big garden for the children to play in. The beds were very comfortable. Nice & close to the lighthouse. Nothing to do with the house but found there were a lot of places/cafes closed as we were there on Tuesday. Some only opened at weekends. Seemed like it was off peak even though it was the Easter holidays. Maybe plan your food before you come!

A lovely stay in Michael's comfortable and spacious apartment. Great location. Looking forward to another stay in the future.
