You’ll love Scott Hill Cabin because of the view, ambience, and location. There are brochures in the cabin to see what options our area has for you. The actual address of the cabin is 1166 Orchard Road. We allow pets, but just ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We want to extend a military discount to our past and present service members.

The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

Holly, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Your description of the cabin was perfect. It offered everything that we were looking for. A great opportunity for us to disconnect from the busy day to day demands and just be still. The river was amazing! Lilly enjoyed her swims and we loved listening to the rain off the rooftop. We went into town and enjoyed a sweet treat and some coffee from the local bakery. It was a lovely time. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your great communication. When I made the reservation I didn't realize it was located right next to a road but that didn't prove to be a concern. There was very little traffic and the deck and large windows faced away from the road and toward the beautiful view shown in the description. The hosts communicated proactively but not intrusively and the expectations for check-in and check-out were clearly written. The GPS directions were passable but it was very helpful to have received the directions from the hosts in advance which provided several alternatives to roads that were still impacted from storm damage.

This was a short trip for us to see a family member who just came back to the east coast . The house was a great location to everything and as soon as you walked in you felt comfy. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the fire pit as it rained but we did enjoy the fireflies.
