Had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Very peaceful location and the atmosphere was welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful experience! Rebecca was an absolutely outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. My family and I had such a peaceful stay. The home and location were incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house and property were absolutely beautiful, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the amazing balconies with the breathtaking views. There is so much space, and every room in the house is well thought out, functional, and cozy. The pool is even better than we hoped, so big and clean and in immaculate condition. We spent most of our time swimming and relaxing by the pool. We also enjoyed playing pool and having so many rooms to gather in with the comfort of plenty of new comfy furniture. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind for a vacation away from all the noise and chaos of daily life. Every single area was as described in the listing and better. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We felt like at home. The house is located in a private property with swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s very clean and very peaceful. Just a clarification about the description : there’s no bathroom in the basement. Then if you come with elderly people or very young kids, it could be annoying. If you like cooking, the kitchen is very well equipped. We´ll keep a very good memory of our stay in Ducktrap Retreat during the colorful foliage season.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

Spent a wonderful week with my family, feel honored to be the very first guests! We have already asked to come back next year, I cannot recommend this place enough! The view from the porch, the pool, the greenery all around, was just perfection. My kids also loved the main hall where we could play ping pong, pool and shoot baskets. We used the tennis court, had dinner at the food hall and loved the location to visit all our favorite Maine spots like Popham beach, Reid state park and all surrounding islands have to offer. Sheri was incredibly responsive, kind and helpful as we needed through out the stay. The house had all necessary items to move right in with groceries! Can’t wait to return.

We got a very rainy week in Maine but still enjoyed the beautiful, comfortable and well stocked house, views, decks and incredible garden. Beautiful restaurants, bookstores and wine and antique shops near by. Hope to return to very soon.

The place was as described and clean; had everything we needed. It is out of town so you have to drive to get places but centrally located to go to Boothbay, Rockland, Camden etc all within about 30 min drive. Host was very friendly and communicative. Perch cafe was great and only 10 mins away. Would recommend.

Fantastic place to rent, I fully recommend it! It was winter, and I’m a solitary person. Linda and Frank respected that while still unobtrusively checking on me to make sure I had what I needed. I’m a weaver, Linda is a quilter and we had really enjoyable conversations. She had great recommendations for yarn and consignment shops (another passion of mine and there are some fine ones around). I will come back when life slows. Linda and Frank, wholehearted thanks to you both!

There’s not enough nice things I can say about Liz’s place and her and Mark. Such a lovely home, fully stocked with everything you need, including a fresh supply of eggs from Liz’s chickens and ducks. They were super accommodating, warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful and genuine. The house is a haven if you’re traveling with kids. My son and nephew did everything from running in the fields and playing with chickens and goats to building train tracks and taking slides indoors. The house is well located with lots to do in the area. We visited the Maine botanical gardens and the drive from the house was easy and short even with the kids. It’s such a peaceful place and Liz and Mark are exceptional. We plan on going back there in the summer!

Maine in the winter is very beautiful. It is quiet but it allows you the time and space to experience nature in a special way. The two walks close by are, Osborne Finch Preserve and Peter's Pond, are great. We loved the space in the house. We were there with another couple but an extended family would have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking some lovely meals. Books and games were plentiful. And the great room was perfect for exercising. A special house in a special place.

Morning sunrise across the harbor with rose, pink, purple, blue neon colors? Check! Funky, Artsy, Unique cottage features (by all means, appreciate the Art Glass newel posts)? Check! Clean, cozy, comfortable and induces lazy R&R? Double Check!! Nearby places to explore, learn history, eat & drink hearty, hike, shop for treasures? Also double check!! My husband and I frequent the Pemaquid Peninsula during all seasons. Sometimes we camp, sometimes we find hidden gems to stay for a weekend...Ken's Cottage is a keeper...Triple Check!!! 5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! Treetop Vista was an absolute delight! The home’s layout is perfectly designed to maximize the stunning views, making it easy to relax and take in the natural beauty. Everything was spotless. Gretchen and Mark were exceptional hosts, incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Treetop Vista to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We hope to return soon!

Perfect little spot in Owls Head. The house has all the necessities and is in a very cute neighborhood. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Eric’s place is super cool design-wise. He’s got a terrific design eye! The view is gorgeous. Eric was very friendly and even offered to let us check out late or stay an extra day. While we didn’t have the flexibility to stay, we appreciated the offer. We were the season's first guests, and while the space was mostly clean, I felt the need to vacuum and wipe down countertops when we arrived. It helps that there’s not a lot of “stuff” cluttering up the space, just gorgeous vintage furniture, lamps, and ceramics. I would recommend this space to friends and family, and my family would stay here again. Thanks, Eric, for a lovely stay!

This was our second stay at Maureen’s place. We appreciate the lovely surroundings and bird life. The brook was full and spring peepers were chirping down in the marsh. Again the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is an easy drive to local towns and hiking trails.

Stunning view! Beautiful home! We loved waking up to sit down at the dock or sit on the couch and just look out the beautiful windows. The kitchen is fantastic! The bathrooms were spotless. We’ll definitely be back. One note- stop off and get groceries before you arrive. It’s remote enough that when you get there you don’t want to leave.

My Wife and I were looking for a cozy cottage get away over the long weekend in Maine. We stumbled on Ann Marie’s place and could not have been more happy about it. Such a charming cozy cottage, we left feeling so relaxed and recharged. Only regret was that we didn’t stay longer!

The perfect Maine getaway. The accommodation is clean, simple, efficient, and with the most stunning views. The access to Hobb Lake was incredible and we took advantage of breakfast on the picnic bench by the water and using the kayaks. The space is kid friendly (we have an 18mo old) and with a great big yard for lots of activities. The location is perfect for short drives to local hikes, great restaurants in Camden/Rockport/Belfast and day trips to Deer Isle and Acadia NP. Jenny was extremely responsive and kind- and went out of her way to help us with a unique situation. We would 100% stay again!

The cottage was beautiful, I loved the artwork and light fixtures. The small details made Babettes home lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the deer in the back meadow in the evenings and was most appreciative that my pup was welcomed there as well. I highly recommend if you tee looking for a quite get away

Gregory and Sara’s place is comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the round house is perfectly located and from the inside, enjoys views of trees and birds out of huge windows. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the wine, delicious coffee and popcorn that awaited us! If you are looking for a secluded place in nature and a short drive to picturesque mid-coast harbors, this is the place for you.
