A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Fantastic stop on our way up to Acadia. Only wish we had booked for two nights instead of one! the wood stove was super efficient on a very chilly October night. Close to the Pour Farm and Odd Alewives breweries, which were awesome. And very quick drive to Camden for food options and excellent ocean/mountain hikes. Very clean and cozy Maine camp. We hope to be back!

Kristi’s place was not only a great and easy to find location, but the view, yard and dock were stellar! Having 2 full bathrooms and very comfotable beds was also great!hard to find in a small place. Nice deck too and a hammock to boot.

Extremely cozy classic Maine lake cottage, great location, and very clean. We had a very peaceful weekend and had so many places to see within a 45 minute radius. We would definitely come back and hosts are wonderful.

We had an excellent stay at this cool and cozy little cabin with our three year-old along. The view and setting couldn't have been better, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. I didn't love having to take our own trash with us on our way out, but this wasn't too big a deal. All in all, definitely recommend this spot.

Incredibly peaceful and gorgeous location. Very quiet and the docks on the lake and the views were perfection. Loved the drive in on the camp road and while there were other cabins close by, we never saw or really heard anyone else. Which was great. Would absolutely book this place again!

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

Kim's place felt like camping out, in a great way. We love the little three stringed dulcimer and cooking hot dogs on the campfire. The beds were comfortable! Thank you, Kim!

This was a fantastic stay—quiet, quaint, and cozy. The cabin felt secluded but was within a 20 minute drive to downtown Camden. Bonny was a very responsive and communicative host. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, the house was well stocked and we felt right at home. The dogs loved the dock on the lake. Listening to the loons on the porch while drinking our coffee was truly special. We would absolutely stay with Lauren and Warren again!

Our third visit to this cozy place by the lake. Simple, yet has everything one needs. We love it. Even saw a loon though wished it had called!

The cabin was as advertised, location and accommodations. Nice and peaceful, isolated and dark at night. Bring your head lamps and flashlights and enjoy a great night’s sleep and rustic lounging around accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy forest cabin. The house was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for 2–3 people. It’s simple and functional — exactly what you’d hope for in a nature getaway — and the privacy and peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true retreat. The view is stunning and constantly changing with the weather and time of day, adding to the charm of the place. While the cabin is on the simpler side, it’s well-equipped: the hot water and shower work great, the heaters keep the chill away when needed, and the gas grill is a nice bonus. The sauna was very nice addition although make sure to bring your own firewood. The host was responsive and kind, even offering us use of his kayaks (though we didn’t have time to take him up on it). The location feels remote and peaceful, yet it’s within a short drive to small villages, restaurants, breweries, and wineries — perfect for those who want to explore a bit. This cabin is very peaceful and charming. Everything inside is very organized with thoughtful little touches to make you even cozier. The views were phenomenal and it was super cool hearing the loons. We had trouble with outdoor shower temperature, but assuming maybe just needed some adjustments with the propane. After booking the airbnb, one of the hosts said she forgot to list the cleaning fee and charged an additional $55 before our visit. The firewood is $15 as well, so some additional expenses added to the cost however the wood is priced in the description. All in all, the cabin was a wonderful stay that I'd highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful area and fantastic host! We had fun playing at the arcade and walking around the camp groups/lake!

Tara's house was clean and well explained. We would love to stay there again when its warmer and we can enjoy the outdoors more.

This was a perfect place to stay while we explored Belfast and mid coast Maine! It was easy to access and all the instructions were clear. The beds felt like hotel beds and the place was well maintained.

Wow! Wonderful place to relax, renew and rejuvenate. The stocked trout ponds were the main draw and did not disappoint! Although the fish were small, they eagerly took our flies. We handled them carefully, returning each one to live another day … perhaps a bit wiser. Everything about the cabin and the grounds immediately felt like home. We can’t wait to return!
