Waterfront holiday rentals in Waldo County

This was perfect for my solo vacation! It is in a perfect location, close driving distance to Camden and Belfast. But also right across from the beach and next to a great pizza place for the night I didn’t feel like venturing out. It feels private and peaceful even though it is right by the road. I loved having my coffee on the porch watching the boats. Thanks to the thick curtains and sound machine, I slept so well. Loved the tub, the comfy bed, the well stocked kitchen. I will be back!

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend at Andrew’s place! The interior was gorgeous and comfortable, the backyard and path down to the water were so pretty and private. Andrew was super responsive, kind, and helpful. Belfast is an adorable little town, we would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay in such a special accommodation. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Even provided snacks and wine that we enjoyed on the back screened-in porch overlooking the river. It doesn’t get better than that! The kitchen was fitted out with new appliances, cooking implements, pots and pans—great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Location was great for visiting the National Park, Bar Harbor etc. An easy 1 hour drive. We felt Jay and Darryl really cared about creating an inviting, enjoyable hide-away for their guests. They really hit the mark!

I couldn’t ask for another place to stay at for vacation, it was a nice neighborhood close to all the attractions nearby. Roger also gave us higher quality food and drink contents instead of the cheapest options. Welcoming us in full arms and asked if we ever needed anything. If I was to plan another trip to Maine I would wait and see if Roger’s AirBNB was available. Thank you Roger for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Belfast for a music festival and enjoyed the Mariners Loft. The location can’t be beat! Right by a wonderful wine shop, the amazing co-op, the Saturday farmers market, and a newer restaurant Dos Gatos. We even walked to the movies at the great local theater. The loft was clean, comfortable with everything we needed to feel at home. Samantha and her team are very responsive and professional. Thanks!

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It was unexpected but amazing to have everything one needs to cook lobster and a Thanksgiving turkey and fixings! David and Hannah were very responsive, welcoming and kind. What a beautiful location in downtown Belfast, very walkable with lovely views. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

Charming apartment with all you need while visiting Rockport and Camden. Cindy and Stephen were super friendly and helpful, even to the extent of finding a neighbor to jump start our car when the battery died overnight. Great location in a quiet tucked away neighborhood.

Loved being at the cabin for the week. Coffee outside on the lower porch, walks down to the pond, and the cool breeze through the house in the evenings. The house had everything we needed and more. Definitely stop by Hope general store if you’re staying here! Hostess was available but not invasive, great experience

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn’t have been any nicer. We loved the space was perfect for our needs. It was close to all that we needed but nice and quiet. The extra touches in the house like fresh flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this place.

Five stars, all the way! Absolutely incredible house nestled on a private drive with the most gorgeous neighborhood beach. We really appreciated all the amenities and loving small touches that the owners put into their dream home. Would stay here a million times over again. We really enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s place!! The view was incredible!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The upstairs did get a little warm but using the box fans and opening the windows in the evening helped. We loved the first floor living area, it was so comfortable, and did I mention the views?!!!

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

Corie was so responsive with answers to questions about wifi and check-in to fun day trips we should try while we are there. The view of the lake is the best and the swimming was wonderful. Plus loved the paddle boat. Very relaxing!!

Enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was our saving grace due to rainy weather. Very relaxing trip!

Kristine’s cabin was perfect for my parents’ visit. It was very clean and a beautifully, well-maintained house. They felt very comfortable there. It was helpful to be able to adjust the temperature because my parents get cold. It was nice that there were same games and puzzles available. The view on the lake was beautiful. The bathroom was clean and spacious! Kristine is very responsive to messages.
