Guest house holiday rentals in Waldo County

This is the perfect Maine cottage experience. Easy to enter cove water for a swim. Cannot beat the view/sunsets. Sitting on front porch is the best. Very well stocked kitchen. Would stay again! Be aware there is no WiFi connectivity if you need that and one of us needed that for a work emergency so found public access. Us old folks found the lock box remote entry confusing. There was a small boat house close by and although visually blocked by trees could hear people talking on porch one night. Very little toilet paper supplied which based on how well everything else was likely an oversight but forced a quick trip to the Island market before it closed.

Jon was very proactive and kind! Gave us lots of good recommendations and told us the story of his cabin. The cabin was very clean and cozy, we had great mornings having coffee outside. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying here and we love it. It’s great for our little family of three. Feels like a little home away from home with everything you’d need. Steps away from a great trail and quick drive to so many other things. We love it here and will be coming back again.

This is truly a gem of an Airbnb. John is an excellent host, being communicative and very helpful throughout the stay. The property is private, serene and well maintained both inside and out. He even helped me acquire some fresh lobsters to cook while we were there! A really special stay, I will definitely be back.

Words can’t describe the experience she made for us! By far the best place to stay in the area very beautiful and very clean! Also had plenty to do with the kiddo there with bonus amenities not listed! Now that was the property but Suzanne is a different kinda host the is always looking out for your best interest between her very easy instructions to her great communication! Would absolutely love to come back again before the summer is over!

The beautiful cabinetry is astounding. The space is small, but bigger than most hotel rooms. The air handling system worked well.

Hands down one of the best places I have ever been. Linda and Jay were so warm and welcoming. Homemade cookies, breakfast items, tea, coffee and snacks. Everything we could ever need. The home is beautifully decorated and immaculate! Linda and Jay were very proactive and thoughtful! They even left information books about the area, gave us some recommendations and answered all our questions. I wish we could have stayed longer! It was truly magical!

Cozy cottage! Would still recommend for non-couples (I was with my mom!) The location is beautiful and the place was very clean with comfortable beds. They brought us some nice dry firewood and made sure we had everything we need. Not much to do in Winterport itself but we drove to Acadia for the day and enjoyed staying in a more quiet area.

We highly recommend this place! Rob and Cassie were great, very responsive. The home was more beautiful in person than in the pictures and the view was wonderful!

This is a little slice of paradise. I came here to do nothing, essentially--read & swim for a few days in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Diane was immediately welcoming with a warm greeting and quick tour. You have privacy here, but if you need anything, she is right next door. I couldn't recommend staying here more highly! This lovely 2nd floor apartment was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Although we only used one bedroom, there was plenty of room for another person or couple. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The view of the harbor from the window was lovely! It is walking distance to several good restaurants, coffee shops and the harbor. Walking the Beauchamp area around the harbor was one of our favorite things to do. Kate responded quickly to any questions we had. Originally we had a problem finding the book for the house as it was mistakenly placed in a drawer. But Kate told us what to look for and we found it tucked away. We would definitely return to this lovely rental!

Perfect place to stay for my mini vacation! Very clean and quiet. Easy walk to Megunticook Market, a bit of a hike to downtown Camden (on foot), but doable if you’re up for it. Hosts wete responsive and check-in was extremely easy.

My wife says hands down the best AirBNB experience she has had! The property was beautiful and a great location. The host provided a detailed list of local restaurants and things to do which was very helpful. Getting an Uber to the wedding venue was tough so the host even offered ride services for an extra cost. We were so grateful!! The homemade blueberry muffins and pile of snacks were such a nice touch too. I really hope we get to have the opportunity to travel back to Winterport again to stay here again in the future. Extremely nice BnB for staying in the area with a relatively cheap budget for lodging. Only an hour and a half away from Bar Harbor/Acadia, 30 minutes from Camden, and multiple other cuter small towns around the area with plenty to do, hike, bike, etc. I loved that they gave recommendations of their own favorite places around the area! Very detailed check-in, check-out, and directions which were greatly appreciated! Overall, our stay here was a 10/10 (except when we accidentally broke something - but they were super understanding❤️) and we would love to stay here again!

We had an amazing Fall ladies weekend and fit in so much. We arrived Friday and did some Antique store visits, Saw Andre the seal and walked the small beach area. Made dinner at you place and had all we needed for a kitchen to make dinner in! Next day we headed out and went to the Farmers Market at the end of your road, visited down town Camden, shopped, Dined at Long Grain and went to various lighthouses. Sunday we had breakfast in and headed out to more Lighthiuse locations and Antique stores. Our one dinner out was a casual store at the Oak Room at the Rockland Harbor Hotel over looking the water. So much to do and see in your area, the place had UBER comfortable beds, linens and was SPOTLESS!

The wildflower garden is beautiful right outside the window, and the cottage has been cared for well, decorated lovingly, and cleaned thoroughly. The location was convenient for us. Bruce was helpful and responsive. We were happy that this cottage was available.

This is a cozy and comfortable home and was perfect for our family of 7. The town is gorgeous with many activities within walking distance and driveable to multiple sites. Everything was as described and our host provided tips for touring and was responsive to any needs.

The cottage is lovely! Michael and Mylisa are amazing hosts-very helpful, quick to respond to any questions, go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. They have fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area, whatever your interests may be. The yoga studio is exquisite even if you don't do yoga. They have created a very special place with incredible spaces. I would love to stay again!
